I must have drawn the unlucky straw. I ordered mine back on August 16th, and it's still not scheduled for production :-(. California R1 (upgraded to 2022 w/ AWD). I'm sure it'll be worth the wait but after hearing nothing for 5 months... ?

Scheduled (finally)! Ordered 10/1 Scheduled 3/7. Star White Premium RWD SR. Logged onto account, no email as others mentioned.

I cant even log into my account. Sux. Even Ford cant get me logged in. Because this is a kids channel for us kids. I wont cuss how I really feel. I want to ad this. Was at my dealer yesterday. Got 4 MME's in. One GT. 2 were ordered, 2 were blue sticker for dealer to sell. They also got one traded back in, 2k miles. Small battery etc. My sales guy said, demand is so high they will be sold tomorrow (today, Thursday). Well to beat the band, I went back after dinner, ALL WERE GONE. except the White GT. The owner getting it Saturday. The point us. SELLING LIKE HOT CAKES. So for now. I hang in there.

Have you checked your priority level with the dealer? Based on many others in the forums, orders that were migrated to MY22 from MY21 automatically went to priority 99 which won't schedule. Your dealer has to update this, otherwise you'll get no movement. Anecdotally, it seems most (if not all?) properly migrated orders have been scheduled.

Neither of my Premium AWD Extended Range orders were scheduled. May is the absolute earliest I expect any of these cars but June/July seem more reasonable.

It seems like from reading the latest posts in this thread, that people who ordered ER battery option are getting deferred unless you are getting a GT or Canadian. Has anyone that has ordered on 10/1-10/2 with the extended range gotten a build date? My theory is they are building based upon profit margin.

I ordered a Premium AWD ER on 10/2 at the dealership and they did not ask me for a down payment so all I see when I log into my Ford account is " Our records show you have no reservations, orders, or purchases..."

The dealership said it is normal that nothing would show until I am scheduled and as far as I know at the moment, the dealership had 16 orders in but none had been scheduled and they are waiting on Ford.

It is a bit frustrating that there is no ETA and it almost seems random with the scheduling of vehicles.

Thanks for this info mdpmdp. I've gone ahead and forwarded your note to my dealer. When I bought, I was reluctant because I didn't like the idea of waiting until mid-December. Little did I know...

Finally finally, ordered 10/18 California R1 AWD extended range, scheduled production date 3/21 ???. Didn’t get any email of the status update, saw it while doing my daily checkin. My guess is that delivery will probably be mid year (hope not), which is about release date for 2023 model ??.
This is by far my worst experience buying a car and the dealerships aren’t making it better. Ford should have a team reading all of these posts to come up with a future training program (I’m available for consulting) on electrified vehicle for their dealerships. I don’t get the fact you’re purchasing a vehicle online, then Ford forcing you to a dealership and then you’re getting shakedown by the dealership. I get that dealerships are independent and have expenses too, but Ford has to clip this now and fast before this cancer spreads.

I know people praise the Tesla ordering system but it's been as unpleasant and unreliable.

My late August MYLR order had delivery dates bumped from Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb then to April before I put it on hold and bought something else (MME and a RAV4 Prime!). Tesla forced me to unhold this week and I was in "June jail" for a while and now received an estimated delivery date of Feb/Mar. Nobody can plan their life with Tesla's ordering system because they force you to take delivery within weeks of VIN assignment (3 days when it arrives at the service center) or they will cancel your order.

I just got my build date!! no email, just checked fords website. Ordered a Premium RWD Standard battery 10/1 in Grabber Blue. Build date is currently 3/21. Increase to MSRP is only $1,000 so far, guess I'm lucky. Not sure how Ford gets away with this when they made me sign a Buyers Order form with the price listed?? I know, it's in the fine print....

That's just to protect them in the event that Ford didn't offer price protection in a specific situation (which isn't a concern here)....or they can use it to confuse people who don't know any better or don't check forums with this information. Or both. But you know better and you're informed, so you should be all good.

I'm at priority 19 and am the only mach-e build that has not been scheduled. Dealer's build interface states that it is due to "Conflicting Plant Restrictions".

On other threads, Priority 19 is the lowest for a retail order (ranges from 10 - 19). I'm willing to wait until summer, so I've not asked my dealer to prioritize my order higher. Others have discussed getting prioritized to 10 for a quicker build date.
