Mich Cross Climate 2 have been really good tyres, I’d definitely go for either them again or CC3 if now available.

Get four of them, just to be certain.

Depends on a dozen factors. Your question is incomplete. Best for racing? Summer? Winter? Sand? Southern latitudes? Northern latitudes? Ice? Off road? Pulled by sled dog?

I was reliably informed I'd be dead by now using cheap 99 load index tires instead of the 103 spec. I drive aggressively and 5k miles later no issues.

I always wondered who volunteered to drive the 20 ton truck over a 10 ton bridge so we could get reliable ratings. Thank you for your sacrifice!

In all seriousness though, you can push the limits of safety if you like, but please don’t encourage others to as well.

Yes, there is a safety threshold with things like this. But they want to make sure your car is still safe when traveling at 100+ mph with 5 people plus luggage when your tires are worn down and you hit a rough road or something in the road etc.

If something goes wrong, you do risk losing an insurance claim or worse.
