Floor jack appears to be okay. Scissor jack would work if strong enough.
See attached for lift points.
Well, that’s interesting. Instructions mention the jack provided with the vehicle. Except there isn’t one.

One thing I really like about the console on the Escape is the small compartment that opens on the top. It's great for very small items (pens, car wash card, lottery tickets, etc.) It would have been nice to have a similar small enclosed cubby on the Mustang Mach E. If they had made the armrest a bit larger and brought it a few inches further forward, that would have been possible.

Interesting if they do, that's one thing Tesla has cost-reduced out of their EVs. Not saying either way is better, but a park pawl is not cheap, so it's interesting Ford kept one in when they had "cover" to not.
I don't know if "Tesla did it this way" provides any cover in the real auto industry.

I did think of something else around this. With that giant heavy battery pack, how safe will a scissors jack work with that and could you damage the car? Are there lift points, or do you really need a garage lift?
there are lift points - saw that somewhere

"Do not use the engine to power the drive wheels unless all drive wheels are elevated off the ground."
Well, since there is no engine ...

Using mostly mechanical features that are needed for safety is a good idea, since they are more likely to be available even if the computer systems are not working. Safety features should have some redundancy.

If you have a dead 12 V battery, most vehicles can still shift from park to neutral. I don't know how the Mach E handles that, but I suspect you need power in a Tesla to shift. When I've had dead 12V batteries I just used the mechanical release to shift. I even had a battery split open, so there was no way to jump it, but the mechanical shifting was still available. Designing for failsafe conditions usually means not using too much complexity.

That's an interesting thought. I wonder how they get a vehicle onto a flatbed when the wheels are locked? Can they jack it up and put rollers under the tires or something?

Looked it up. Appears there are wheel dollies, and tire skates for that.

If you're able to get a freeway efficiency snapshot, that'd be cool. Like, 70mph with climate control set to like 68-72F and arse warmers on.
Maybe with heat on and also with all heat and air off to see what just the car needs.

Too small for a spare tire where the kit is. I even took out the foam insert and not enough room.

The sun was so bright and the charge screens so faded that could barely even read. The pic shows a 65% charge at 42KW.

The highest I got with this charge was 121kw.
It did work the first time. Plugged it in, put my card in and it started.
