250 miles one way isn't bad at all. Maybe one 5-10 minute charging stop, longer if you need extra range to drive around in town once you arrive. I do 850 miles each way for the holidays in my CR1, but my family is weird. We do a few times a year… probably 250mi further trip one-way… typically around Christmas, so winter range
We do go skiing which is hard with the mach e, would love if the middle rear seat had a poke through hole on the arm rest… though the escape didn’t have it either
I don’t think she’d seek an EV yet, though I did get an extended warranty and paid for 3yrs BC on my ‘21…. So can at least get the value out of that
Compares to what we owe on the financing for the escape, we could probably get ~3k higher than what we owe for it… the ‘21 mach e, either turn it on part of options, or a trade is is pretty much net 0 (I did get an appraisal)
You could get a roof rack for the skis. It will affect range a bit due to aerodynamics, but not badly. I have the Thule roof rack, and it works well.
