It’s not the road coverage - it’s the “doesn’t change lanes” that really makes it not worth the money. It’s just posh lane keeping at this point (and not worth £17/month).

If it is buyable I decided I’m having it.

Ad-man’s dream the wife calls me, well amongst the other far less flattering and far more abusive things she calls me which I like to think are terms of endearment?

The firm can pay, it can come off the Corporation Tax.

If I don’t spend it before I go the kids will only spend it on tasteless Teslas or Apple shite!

Picked up my Mach E, HVJB changed under warranty and collision warning, ext temp all fixed at a cost of a smidge under £900 which to be fair to the dealer isn’t that bad.
For what it’s worth the Merc 250+ while my initial impression was fairly positive after having it for just over a week my thoughts changed, it had an annoying whistle over 40mph, maybe something not fitted correctly, the back end seem pretty crashie over uneven surfaces, the infotainment system and general cabin, steering wheel just littered with tiny buttons and every font was tiny even on the digital dash.
Plus it was nippy from standstill but lacked any beans after that, got back in the AWD premium Mach e and it felt like a rocket ship!!!

I had the park brake errors come up a few weeks ago, booked in for the Tsb awaiting parts and then last week my car wouldn't release the park brake and had to get the AA who did a temp removal of the park brake so I could take it in. This appears to be an issue for all maches built in the early batches. I was extremely angry this wasn't a recall.

Your Merc loaner could have been worse - I’ve been in a Puma for the last few days while the MachE is getting fixed… the engine & steering on the that are just nasty.

Aye, my park brake harnesses went like this, too.

Fortunately park brake didn’t stick on, I think one just didn’t work at all which was no concern to me with a Park lock on transmission and at least one park brake working so I just continued using Stangy until the parts arrived.

Funny thing was, when dealer got it on ramp, they managed to get the park brake on but couldn’t get it off so was stuck on their ramp.

You just couldn’t make it up?

I was put in a brand new Volvo XC60 with just 500 miles on the clock during bodywork on Stangy.

Worst car I’ve ever driven and I don’t usually criticise a car’s ride etc because I am very forgiving and adaptable to different vehicles having driven so many in my job.

Auto transmission felt like a 1980’s auto box clunking through every gear change, put me off a Volvo not that I ever would’ve bought one anyway.

Hopefully the new Electric puma is better!

So I have a 2023, so have BC. I tried it out and it was fine, it worked. But yesterday I did a long trip up to Wales and back and wasn't subscribed. To be honest the smart cruise and lane assist did exactly the same job, just needed my hand on the wheel.

In the UK I don't think you're missing anything, it steered and it managed speed, we don't have the lane change functionality here, so what does it actually bring to the table except actual hands free, just keep one hand on the wheel.

Unless there's functionality I wasn't aware of.

That’s my experience, too. It’s great?

My m21 is coming up to its end of lease this year. I have to change my car in July. I don’t think I will get another mme. I want more range and faster charging.
the longer range models are too expensive. There are other cars that are cheaper on first research.
Plus I hate the ride in this car. I still hate the wallowing ride. Shame Elon turned out to be a massive nazi as I was going for a model y.
