My m21 is coming up to its end of lease this year. I have to change my car in July. I don’t think I will get another mme. I want more range and faster charging.
the longer range models are too expensive. There are other cars that are cheaper on first research.
Plus I hate the ride in this car. I still hate the wallowing ride. Shame Elon turned out to be a massive nazi as I was going for a model y.
Same here, I need to change in Sept/Oct, but can only imagine what its like to now own and drive a Tesla associated to everything they collectively stand for and seem to inspire the best in humanity, the search continues...

I agree with you re Telsa. I'm not into their cars anyway but even if I wasn't, I would not want to spend money with them.

I'm surprised Elon hasn't been voted off the board yet. He could double down on his quest for going to Mars..... If Mars will have him.

He don’t wear a suit, just MAGA hat and T-shirt, so Mars wouldn’t have him and I’d kick him out the government such are their high standards on dress code ?

After 3 years in my First Edition its time to wave good bye, been fun to drive even with the 3 HVBJB replacements that Ive had, awsome car and puts a smile of my face every time I drove it. paid half of what I bought it for so made sense to hand back as it was in negative equity.
What's next, well took a test drive in the Ionic 5 and EV6 GT but just wasn't the same and I didn't really like the styling either. So in the end I've managed to change up to the Mach-e GT :)
will be picking it up next week, went for Grabber Blue again (is there any better colour, maybe the eruption green but couldn't find one in the price I was willing to pay) with the black option alloys, 24 plate and just below 5k miles all for a £5 under £40k with 2 years Ford Protect warranty included. so with 30K off a new one I thought for that price I felt it was a bargain too good to miss.

I’m going away for a couple of weeks and will be leaving my car in the garage.

It’s on roughly 55% and I was thinking of leaving it plugged into my Zappi charger on stop mode. A couple of days before coming home I can switch the charger on and charge it via solar so it’s ready for my return.

I understand if it’s more than 30 days there is guidance, but have read mixed messages about shorter durations. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I have signed a lease to get a Renault Scenic E-tech long range (about 379 miles range). For a two-year lease, it's £329 a month with a three-month deposit. The long-range MME is so overpriced compared to that to lease.

Just been thinking of a similar change to a Scenic E-Tech, as my lovely MME is in its 4th year now and 55k miles. Bit like Edge2MME, I’m likely going to hand it back as also in neg equity? Would look at a new MME, if the price was more reasonable and the range better.

handing back the first edition was quite straight forward, just had to pay for the 400 miles of excess I did at 9p per mile plus VAT and for two small 20mm chips on the front bumper and wheel arch which they charged £15 each for, I had a quote from chipsaway for £300 plus VAT.
Been enjoying the GT for the past two weeks; it's so much different with the suspension and power :) getting around 240-280 miles at 90% as I don't do more than 300 miles a week the lost range from the FE isn't that impactful to me, tried Blue Cruise for the first time on the M25 and M2, which was an experience. I got a trial till 28th Aug but don't think I will be paying for it after that. adaptive CC is still great, and I couldn't stop putting my hands on the wheel through habit.
