Have you got 'in transit' as status on the vin lookup?

The problem with the tracker website is that it is NOT a ford generated website. It is a third party website that has an 'in' into the Ford's tracking system. It might be delayed by a while before the information is gathered. Vista IS Ford's system so is likely to be more accurate. The only problem with vista is that the only way we can get to see the info is by pestering your dealer.

Thanks for that. Gate release date is 25 Jan. That add a bit of credence to my theory. That's good to know. Vehicle status shipped usually means it's left the factory compound. Probably it is now sat in the port. Hopefully Veracruz. I will be keeping a close eye on mine.

Brilliant, so here's hoping ours get gate released in the next few days and they all get on the ship on 18th Feb. I think once they are on the ship then the Vista ETA date to dealer will be more accurate, it obviously keeps changing at the mo.

It depends on what sort of expedite Ford tell their transporter companies to put on our MME. To be on the safe side I allow 2 weeks from arriving at port to getting to dealer. This allows for customs clearance etc. Obviously that depends on where you live. I am about 50 miles from Southampton. That was the time it took my current car. It was more frustrating knowing it was only 50 miles away than it is 5000 miles away

Hi all - I just bugged my dealer on what he can see from the system (no vista print out offered, but sounds like it's ready to be shipped). Here's what he said:

"No worries, yeah ive been back for a few days so all good now!

By the looks of things is in a queue to be put on the ship, but coming from Mexico its still going to be a few months!

We sign all finance documents when the car is in the UK, so we will be in contact when we need to do that (hopefully with the showroom open too!)"

On the Vin tracker tool I have Production date: 2020-12-02, and ETA End Date: 1990-01-01, and its a Black RWD ER ordered 18 Nov 2019! Helpful comment that the finance will get sorted once the vehicle has arrived in the country.

Just rang my dealer (not spoken since New Year so was worth a poke)

Mine's had no change since 9th December build and is still Assembly Offline.

Funniest thing was he was all chirpy and said oooh you’ve got an updated ETA Date of 8th May 2021, until I pointed out that the “old” ETA date was 14th March ?

@Wonky_Donkey posted earlier on this thread some pictures of a Rapid Red RHD car that was doing the rounds before this lockdown. As far as I can remember they are the only RHD ones around. You can always mirror images of a LHD one to get a good idea.

I have the dubious honour of having the highest number of posts of all UK members. SORRY
However, I think these numbers show that interest in this car in the UK is almost as intense as it is in the US. Either that or we just moan and complain a lot more. I veering towards the former. This waiting is killing me. Just hope that things start moving in the right direction in the next week or so.

I'm convinced things will look up as that recent Newspaper article stated March and Ford UK would have given that date when asked what to put in the article. Unless they are completely stupid.
