Is there enough room in the back to put in a dog cage/crate? Only a smallish one for a Cocker Spaniel, about 18" cube.

I think there would be but I suggest go to one of the garages when it's in your area (the tour) with the dog cage and check.

So, my original plan, was to purchase a used RR Evoque when I retire. Once I saw the Mach E I was sold. I have taken my own advice and revisited why I wanted this car so much.

Reading back over some of our previous comments it took me back to some of the comments on the Evoque owners groups.

Despite these cars being viewed as 'Luxury SUV's', and with a price tag to match, the number of complaints on those forums was quite significant.

The main ones relating to faulty drive trains. Some owners had problems within 1,000 miles and their vehicles had spent up to 5 months in the dealerships waiting the go ahead on warranty claims, etc.

With this in mind, and given that Ford's are reportedly making certain any potential problems with our cars are addressed before delivery, I 'm back to being positive about the outcome of my Mach E journey.

Yes, it has been a rocky road at times, but I don't think our cars will end up in the dealerships for 5 months.

Nice pics and thanks for posting Steve. I was hoping there was going to be a black one when I had my viewing, as a few people have said it loses a bit of its appeal especially over the wheel arches and the extended bit on the roof at the rear.
What did you think.

Looks great Steve.

I really like the black and it's one of the few colours that make the 18" wheels look great.

I was overruled by my wife and grandson and so I'm hoping the Iconic Silver will do the same.

I found the same as you that the drive was fantastic. It made my car feel like a dumper truck when I got back in it.

Yes, I'm sure you can. I have to fit Ralph my setter in the back!!! I think you'll be fine.

I've ordered the RWD ER in black.

Sorry didn't test the sound on the RWD SR but it doesn't have the fancy B and O soundbar anyway!
