I hope you get longer than me on your test drive Tony. Matt has double booked my slot and reckons I’ll only get 20 minutes. They aren’t exactly making me feel like a valued customer in any way shape or form!

Not good- tbh having owned an ev and a Toyota (current car) with most of the driver aids the Mach E has, I'm more interested to see how much quality has gone into it's construction. If we get back early I'll happily gift you a few minutes of our test drive!

She has done a series of YouTube videos on her experience with the MME. She did a ten things she hated and 10 things she liked afterwards. Ford saw the video, supposedly they have a team monitoring social media (not doing a very good job), and arranged for a free loaner and got her car into the dealer for fixes. It would appear to me that FordUS are pushing out the cars with any snags etc and then waiting for a customer to complain that they have issues and then fixing them. No complaint, no need to fix. Perhaps FordEUR are taking a different, in my opinion a better one, approach and are trying to fix all the snags BEFORE they get sent to us, the customer. This lady has quite a large following, but her voice is sooo annoying, so it was in FordUS's interest to keep her onboard. This latest video when she got her car back was very complimentary.

If it’s who I’m thinking of she did one on the parking assist which she forgave a fail on every point. It was clear she had no idea how it was supposed to work and hadn’t RTFM despite having had the car fo a couple of months

I'm my limited experience (my business partner and I ordered 4 cars between us and ended up with cancellations at various stages of their production/shipping)...

20+ weeks is a car yet to be built,
14-16 weeks is a car already built but still in Mexico
10-14 weeks is a car that's already shipped and either at port in Veracruz, on a boat, or at Antwerp.

Obviously Ford haven't actually stuck to any of the above times for our orders.

That tallies with my order from last month. That was 14 weeks and was produced the same day I ordered by coincidence. It's currently at Veracruz awaiting a ship.

I'm hopeful my FE will be at Antwerp already, but without a VIN I'm left nervously waiting. ?

OK peeps. Could be good news for some. It would appear that an inland motor barge called FORENSO arrived in Antwerp at the berth where the ships bringing our cars from Veracruz berthed. This barge arrived yesterday from Vlissingen and looks as if it is a car carrier. I may be adding 2 + 2 and getting five but this added with the twitter post from Sunday that I reported from FordUK leads me to believe that some of our cars are on the move in the right direction at long last. Keep fingers ?everyone. Someone could be lucky very soon. My birthday Thursday, wouldn't that be a nice present

That is interesting but I won’t get my hopes up. The port must be bursting with cars if ships are docking there with cars 2-3 times a week. They must be running out of space.

We will keep a track on that to see where it heads to and if another Roro ship subsequently berths next to it that heads to England.

Looking at pictures of the FORENSO I estimate she can carry about 80 cars on top deck and probably about 100 -120 on bottom deck. That could be a decent chunk of cars IF they only put MME'S onboard

I just upgraded the shipping app as the info was 18 hours old.
FORENSO is showing in the same place but ‘underway using engine’ maybe it is due to go to its destination - which is Antwerp so not much help, just another compound, maybe .

So, quick update on this. Today I got an email from Ford telling me the car was finally in Europe(no shit, Ford)!

It seems to be an automated message so you should get it as the car is almost in the UK. They did however estimate 4-7 weeks delivery form today, but i reckon that is just standard message(dealer told me a week to week and a half).

The F12 stuff has remained the same.

To keep the ones interested in how things changes when the car is underway updated:

New change in the f12 things. "Compound out" from 8th may. So there is considerable lag on the updates at"order-status?vin...."

tappsdatetime and vehicletdatetime has another update this morning. Probably the car has been unloaded from the ship.

Not that I'm taking this personally, but I feel that I can now guarantee all those with Mustangs waiting in Antwerp will get them delivered imminently. This is due to switching the way I'm paying for the Mustang (loan against mortgage rather than PCP) and finding out that the solicitor didn't register my house deeds properly when we bought 18 months ago, so I need time to sort that mess out. The universe will invariably deliver early for all of you just to spite me and force me into taking the more expensive Ford Finance route..... ???

Not that I'm taking this personally, but I feel that I can now guarantee all those with Mustangs waiting in Antwerp will get them delivered imminently. This is due to switching the way I'm paying for the Mustang (loan against mortgage rather than PCP) and finding out that the solicitor didn't register my house deeds properly when we bought 18 months ago, so I need time to sort that mess out. There are advantages to taking out finance on a car as opposed to using a loan or paying outright.

Here is an idea for you all - taking it from someone who trades (and holds) cryptos successfully.
Get your car on finance and (if you was buying outright) and put half the car purchase price in Bitcoin and use the other half to draw down on your car payments
Bitcoin is currently trading at $55000. In a few years, it will be $250000 under estimated and easily achieved. Let’s remember, it was $4000 last March and it only has a $1 trillion market cap.

Good shout. She wasn't showing up on the tracker earlier. Only showing as a freighter. No details. Maybe she has just started her engines ready to sail. Berthed on the same jetty as Forenso so they could be working together. Even better
