I’ve had similar poor experience with that dealer - 12 days for them to apply 21P22 and realise they couldn’t do the windscreen.
I’ve just dropped it off this morning for just the pano roof recall, and they want it for 4 days!! Not sure why but let’s wait and see how they get on.

Hello all,

Is anyone on a British Gas EV tariff or does anyone recommend switching to another company. What with energy price rises was wondering what the best way to go is.

TIA

I’m on Octopus Go. 4 hours of cheap electricity overnight (5p per kWh) and then 15.96p per kWh the rest of the time. 25p daily standing charge. I’m expecting that to rise, but I’m fixed until June or July I think.

Octopus go is currently 7.5p per kwh. It had been suspended but it looks like it's now available again.

Be interesting to see if they do it.
Mine is booked in again when I return.
Said one day would be all that is needed. Not sure about that, as I reminded her again that the roof and windscreen is to be done. We'll make it 2 days to be on the safe side was reply. By then we should have a clearer picture as to the procedure.
Not got much confidence of what will get done or if any of it.

Mine is only in for the roof as the FSA has now been split into two. 21S42 for the roof and 21C22 for the windscreen. At the moment, only 21S42 applies to mine. I understand they are staggering the roll out of 21C22 because of the low stock of replacement windscreens if one is broken

They can only do the windscreen when they have one in stock. They are ordered on a VIN specific rotation so if your VIN hasn't been called yet it won't be ordered yet. My dealer ordered mine 2 weeks ago and we are still waiting. If yours is just a re-adhesion and not a replacement then they could do it but if it gets cracked when they cut it out and there aren't stocks about then you will f......d. I wouldn't put too much pressure on them to do it quickly if i was you as it might come back and bite you in the a..e.

Yeah I’m not pushing 21C22 at all. Fine with them doing the roof as they don’t need to take any glass out.

I'm going in tomorrow to the dealer for them to check the windscreen. After they access they will order one for me to get and get it replaced if needed. I have asked them to update the software tomorrow also.

And 30p per kWh peak - jeez!
I don't use go. I'm on their outgoing tariff as I've got solar panels. They pay us for unused energy we generate.

I have PV and battery storage so I rarely export anything. I can also use GO to charge my battery storage if the weather means there won’t be enough sun to cover demand

Now that's interesting- I'd like to know more. If you don't want to put it on the forum please pm or em me if that's okay?

Hi Neil,

I'm the same as you - but without the battery storage ?

As @Tony.T said, I'd also be really interested in your battery set-up if you had a moment and wanted to contact me directly (or via the forum).

Cheers, ?
David
