I'll be travelling past Vospers on my way up to Newton Abbot on Tuesday hopefully- not sure what time yet!
Well if i'm out and about at the same time and you see a space white MME, no harm in having a wave / flash just in case Tony! haha.

Anyone knows what all these mean?

Inked20220526_161739_LI.jpg
There’s all sorts on there from paint codes to front and rear max axle weights and overall vehicle weight.

There’s a few decoders kicking around on Google if you want the specifics for each value.

I'm going to cancel a RWD SR Iced Blue Silver + tech pack order this morning that's already been discharged from Antwerp according to whereismymme. Should be available on Ford's website today for someone to snap up.

The repeated DAB station name alert is the Intelligent suggestions “feature” (aka annoyance) ?

To stop it from constantly suggesting things you will need to create a driver profile in settings. As part of setting up a profile it will ask if you want suggested items - click “No”.

The pop ups will stop after that ?
I’m still getting the pop ups despite setting up a profile, really annoying! Any ideas?

Another annoyance! Sat in the back behind the driver and the middle seatbelt missing kept chiming. Not the thinist person, but not as big as half the back seat!

Sure you didn't accidentally plug the middle seatbelt?
If someone does, and correct it, a door must open to clear the expectation of a passenger in that seat.

To wave or not to wave, that is the question...

I've had my car for 10 months, I've done 28000 miles and when I first started driving the Mach-e, I didn't see one for 3 months. This week I went from Watford to Widnes (return) and saw 2 on the way up, 3 on the way back (including Andy who I charged up next to at Rugby). This week alone, I have seen over 10, in fact in my small village there are now 2 and in my immediate area about 4 or 5 that I pass/follow often.

Now, I have to declare that I'm not a waver/flasher and I'll be the one who doesn't wave/flash back (but I'll have a chat at the charger, I'm not that unsociable!!) so apart from the obvious of having the same model of car, the question is, why do people flash and wave? (although to be fair I've never been flashed/waved by the other Mach-e's I've seen, and there have been lots) I may have a different attitude to most, I love the car but it's a car, I do lots of miles and I don't see other cars of the same model waving/flashing, even the bikers don't do it as much these days...

So to all those getting their new cars, enjoy them (you'll love them!) but if you see a miserable old git in a black 71 plate and he doesn't wave back, that'll be me (now to be known as Dermot 'Victor Meldrew' Vermin)

One last bit of advice for the new owners, don't sweat the OTA updates, you can become obsessive about having the latest update and find yourself wandering out at night to check for updates, don't sweat it. I had mine serviced a while back and it has the improved charge curve and that's all that matters. I'm supposed to be on 1.7 but I haven't got the draw or Tic Toc and I'm not bothered, I'm happy to leave as it is (I'm not getting my screen recall done for the same reason, although I'll get that done at second service, which will be in September at 38000).

Mine does this every now an again (sometimes with no one in the back, maybe a faulty sensor) and you have to drive around with the middle belt plugged in.

Thanks, useful to know. Very possible that I tried plugging in the wrong socket
