Ok I’m confused. got this email tonight from Ford. Logged in Following the link. Can’t see any changes at all. Nothing specified anywhere. Anyone else get this?!?

Going back to the earlier discussion, I've been checking the VIN tracker for the two cars we have on order regularly...

Mine has not change. Still "in production" with ETA end date of 1990-01-01

My business partners car which is "in transit" had a ship date of 28th Jan and ETA end date of 4th Feb, this ETA end date yesterday changed back to 1990-01-01.

as @portlandg mentioned, the ETA end date is obviously not the date for us to get the car as a car gate released on 28th Jan would not be at the dealer on 4th Feb. It must be some internal deadline for the factory.

the other three cars which are "in transit" have you had a similar change to the ETA end date?

No, just checked. Eta end date still the same. I'd only worry if that "in transit" changes and then I'm not sure by how much I'd worry. The purchase process started as an enjoyable experience, it shouldn't be like this.

Also for those who dont show "in transit" at some point late Feb should be contacting Ford and asking where their car is. The lack of communication is appalling.

And surely on the official page we see on our orders it should change from "in production" to "shipped" by the time our ship sails?

When I spoke to the dealer a couple of weeks back he said they just get paid from Ford a "handling fee" for receiving the Car and the basic admin.

with all the extra issues eg problems arranging the finance online it has added extra work that they were told wouldn't be needed and contradicted the reason why they were told it only need that basic fee!

Yup, I got the same and couldn't see any changes either. Dealer had not been notified of anything either

Got a Production Date on the Tracker tool for the first time today = 2021-02-03

Fortunately, I can see from the posts above that this means the 3rd Feb and not the 2nd March!
