I have a theory. I think the issues are more likely to be software/systems. Ford want to avoid the issues VW had and the reputation damage. There will be some UK only aspects such as road sign recognition.

They also want a Large first batch delivery rather drip feed. Realistically we are slipping week on week.
Personally I think they are/have found more issues than they first thought and that is the reason for the increased delays. I just wish they had the balls to admit it and tell us. I for one would be happier to know that they have found additional issues and are trying to rectify them rather than treating us like mushrooms.

Is this not where the Mustang Mach-E Concierge & Electrification Specialist should be helping us with information?? I do not know about anybody else but Rebecca and Hannah seemed very good to start but there is now no communication at all. No out of office so all I can assume is I am being ignored. Communication is just continuing to be poor. Seems like all worldwide this is where Ford have fallen down except if you post reviews on YouTube you are ignored. I will seriously consider pulling out if my car gets put back to June as I have moved from 13th May to 29th May last I heard from my dealer with same build date as few of you 9th December. A car that will be 7 months old and will have been in QC checks for over 10 weeks 29th May just makes me nervous about what is wrong and the lack of communication is not helping. The EV6 full orders open in May and I may well be tempted to continue on that journey with my pre order already in place from 30th March. Spookily the day I got excited as the Mach E landed in Antwerp little did I think it would still be sitting there with nothing done at all.. ..

Hannah ignored my last email when I politely asked her to come back with an answer rather than a "I dont know".

As I have said many times before, I do not believe that Rebecca and Hannah are "ignoring" us, it's just they can't tell us anything, either because they don't know or that they aren't allowed to tell us.;). I also think that FordUK are being very restrained by FordUS in what information they can release.;) Like you say, the lack of communication is NOT just limited to us. I think that there are a couple of reasons why our delivery dates keep moving back. The first, as I mentioned earlier, is that they have found more issues than they first thought. Secondly, they are keeping back the processed/fixed cars to ship in a large batch. Thirdly, once again as I have said before, that as more cars arrive in Antwerp the LHD versions are being prioritised over our RHD cars so ours then go to the back of the queue. As always this is only my humble opinion tinged with a large dose of sour grapes. I can understand and sympathise with you regarding pulling the plug. I am there too. 2 reasons for me sticking with it for now, there is nothing else around that I feel I can live with and as I spent far too much in getting my garage extended and fitted out to accept the MME I am reluctant to give up (just yet anyway). I am sure that behind the scenes there are people who understand our frustrations and gripes and are doing their upmost to get us some information

Wonder who those people are though? And it should not be people on this forum who are excellent it has to be said.
I do think you and @jongodfrey are right though and makes economic sense that Ford are waiting for a large batch of rhd cars before shipping to UK and then there will no doubt be some fanfare like there has been from Ford Norway about their arrivals. ?We all get some news and they all arrive (certainly those been there since March/April at least) to big fanfare before end May.

Just out of interest, has anyone else started a music play list for when they do finally pick their cars up? Or is it just me ?
I’ve had enough time to setup my own radio station let alone a playlist ??

Just heard from my dealer pushed back to 5/6/21. Probably the best I could have hoped for. Dealer has emailed. He also said this -
"Dates have been jumping around on our later orders quite a bit. Yours has moved to the 5th June. In my mind Ford have surely got to ship these over quite quickly. With Mustang product I have seen these cars shipped over to us in a week, they just turn up regardless of the Vista dates. I have sent an email to our people at Ford asking for clarification on timings. You would think it would be a quick answer but internally for them it’s a case of the sales side of the company doing battle with logistics."

I believe this to be the most likely explanation and would explain why they can't say (yet) when they will be released out of Antwerp but only re-estimate the ETA continually.

but that doesn't explain why a ship of cars for Norway has been loaded up/unloaded? is that a ship after Antwerp or before it?

The old phrase "being sent to Coventry" - should that now be replaced with Antwerp?

That ship does a local run up the coast to various ports in Belgium/Germany/Netherlands/Norway from Antwerp. I imagine those cars were on the GH and IMM, had cleared QC checks and sent on their way post haste, which just goes to reinforce my theory of LHD cars having priorty

Those people are the Dealers and anyone else whose job is directly affected by sales issues.

I also think it makes sense for them to hold back and ship in the one go - because if they ship a batch and then find another issue it means all the UK cars aren't in the one place to be able to do another mass fix.

I think my dealer said Liverpool as that new route Ford are using and other people have mentioned Liverpool here in the last week - so it's worth keeping eye out for any Liverpool ships heading from Antwerp or that area.

said a few posts ago, because FordEUR are controlling the checks at Antwerp they are making sure their cars get out first.
Norway is not part of the EU and somehow they are managing to get them faster than UK.... I think is just a matter of how Ford UK cares for his customers.

They have 2 ships a week from Antwerp to Liverpool. I think next one is Atlantic Sky which just arrived in Antwerp.
