Unfortunately I think it does. They will, I assume, go from Antwerp to Vlissingen on the barge, which takes about 3.5 hours and then will wait for a ship to Dagenham. However, there is a shuttle service to Dagenham with, at the moment 2 ships, but sometimes 3 a day, so "shouldn't" wait in Vlissingen for to long if we are lucky. Much to the wife's disgust I am watching their movements closely.
It must be conceivable for cars to be driven directly off the Tossa and Forenzo and onto the Celestine, which is currently at Vlissingen. If so, they could be in Dagenham this week!

Good times.

I have just checked my F12 function - no change but not sure if this is really reliable for anyone, or how often it updates.

Grahame, you say you can't see this. Have you tried a different browser? Safari does it for me but Brave doesn't.

I think I have tried all of the browsers. Have no idea why it doesn't work for me

If our cars are on the TOSSA and FORENSO then that would be a logical step. But when have Ford been logical during this process

That woukd make a lot of sense as they have drivers in them vs drive off ship, park for a day / week / month then put drivers in to move to another ship....

Question. Can the dealership register custom plates on our behalf before we collect the car? or do we have to wait till we get the car home then send off the paperwork to the DVLA?
My dealer is doing mine. I took the retention document in when I had my test drive. He said it will be on the car when I pick it up. ??

It's all starting to feel like happy days will be here soon!
Fingers crossed Steve. None of my dates have changed yet though on ETIS, etc. So, not looking to hopeful for me.

Same here dude. I'm still 8th dec 2020!

My eta is 22nd and I've asked for a Vista update and should find out tomorrow if it's changed!

I think the delay is deliberate to slow down the rollout as they are worried delivering too many cars too soon.

What a Day it's been- at long last my quick review for you of our road test of a RWD ER MME.

Weather was overcast and bright and quite warm at Plymouth when we arrived. Never been to the dealer- or Plymouth before so a big adventure!

Nice place (not Plymouth...) the staff were attentive helpful and professional. Simon the Mach E guru showed us all around the car then handed us over to Matt, the Mach E sales manager. After doing the paperwork and a quick question and answer session, he took us outside to our test car, a Black RWD ER (I parked next to a rapid red model as seen in the photos below in the blue badge bay which was handy as I'm a holder ? ) You can see the difference in size between my C-HR and the Mach E. The Mach is substantially bigger (good) but a similar overall height.
Anyway I was handed the keys and waved goodbye.

So What was good and bad? This is very much my opinion and will be different to others I'm sure...

>Didn't like OPD, not instinctive but I know with experience I will.
>Propulsion noise- why? Just why? Turned it off at the 1st opportunity. EV's are supposed to be quiet and that's the magic.
>I liked the standard brakes very much- just like my C-HR. Felt very confident with them.
>steering, handling and ride was excellent- more by luck than judgement I found a stretch of poor road in a residential area and no problem at all.
>Loved the impressive interior space and the glass roof which makes the interior light and airy.
>the centre screen was very intuitive to use, especially for a 70 year old like me! I set the screen in the centre to have a white background and the Dash screen to have a dark blue background- looked good and was very usable for me.
>build quality was excellent. No creaks or groans, panel gaps and fit and and finish were exemplary. Mind you Ford have been mass producing cars since 1908 so I guess they know how to do it!

Now I know there's one question you all have- Mr.T, wots it go like Guv? Is it a Mustang?

Now bear in mind many years ago I owned a specialist garage business for a while. Myself and my more able partner worked on BMW's, Jags, Astons, Porsches and the occasional Lambo and Jensen.

I can report that this Mach E would have blown all of these cars doors off (they were all 70/80's cars)

I accidentally on purpose found myself on the Devon Highway (A38) and following slow traffic on the LH lane I waited for a gap,
Got the launch code,
And lit the Blue touch paper,

Yes- it;'s a Mustang- no question at all, none whatsoever! I know that because my speed controller (aka the wife) was screaming at me to slow down as I passed through...more than 70 let's say...

Sorry for such a long rambling report, but we've decided to see it through and continue with the order. Especially as the Salesman improved the derisory on-line offer for my C-HR once he saw it by £4k (matches all the other offers I've had) and He can arrange to do the handover at their branch in Truro which is so much easier for us to get to.

After all this I am delighted to read that it looks like the 1st UK shipments are on the way, hope you get them soon then It'll be my turn to wait.

Glad you enjoyed it. I drove the very same car on Saturday (they left Poole for Plymouth) and I think I had pretty much the exact same experience, apart maybe for the 1pd. I loved it, and the car.
