Call me a wee bit naive but I was surprised at the ‘customer service’ I’ve received. When someone asks for help or assistance you provide it or at least say you’ll do your best. That shouldn’t be based on financial motivation but just simple decency.
Dealers shouldn’t all be tarred with the same brush either.
I had a test drive with a different dealer to who I’ve ordered my car with and he knew this.
Despite that he still rearranged things so I could get a test drive with the exact model I ordered.
As a result of that and other things they did for me I’m more likely to use them in the future. They were night and day compared to Evans Halshaw where everything seems like such a chore to them.
It’s a lessen that I’ll remember. ?
You can always use them for servicing and heaven forbid that you need it, any warranty work. Just because you bought from one dealer you don't have to continue with him.

Can confirm one thing though - it came with 2 keys - and they have a Mustang logo on them.

Nearly taken delivery and the information keeps flowing.. That's good to know.. Sorry but I don't believe that the sales manager didn't have a key to the compound. Anyway, at least you have seen YOURS at long last

Hasn't the whole experience been shambolic? I got an email from my dealer this morning (from a new person I've never dealt with before) saying they have received my car and I can collect it Tuesday.
But I haven't even paid for it yet and (after I finally got them to honour the £3000 reduction and reminded them about the £1000 deposit they'd forgotten about too I now have an invoice. But as it is the weekend even if I do internet banking they won't get the money till monday. And they want an (original not photocopy) insurance cover note too which I can't get till my Broker opens on monday and I then need to find time to collect it 12 miles away north and deliver it 12 miles away south to my dealer.

All this could have been accomplished in good time if I had been given better notice of when the car was coming. It was only yesterday that I received an email saying the car was due at my dealer in the next 2 to 4 weeks. As it is I think I will arrange to collect my car on Thursday to give time for the paperwork to be sorted and for the dealer to have plenty of time to get the car properly prepared.
