so my car is at the dealership but I'm one of the unlucky few whose fast charge cable didn't ship with the car. luckily my wall charger has its own cable but this is ridiculous. How is 'make sure charge cable is included' not one of the checklist items at Antwerp, what were those cowboys doing? This is a 50 grand car not a friggin IPhone 12 where Apple expects you to source your own charger.

Was it the public charge cable (Type2 to Type2) or the Varipower Charger that was missing?

I received confirmation from Hannah on the FordPass as follows:

• FordPass Charging Network (New Motion) – 5 Year Free Trial
• Ionity – 1 year free trial
• BP Pulse – 1 year free trial

Sadly for me and @Dieeasysteve and indeed all other Ford EV drivers in NI, Ionity and New Motion have no charging network coverage here. BP Pulse has a massive 2 charging locations across the whole country. Maybe this will change at some point within the 5 year free trial period that we may get some benefit. But in the meantime the FordPass card I received is of zero benefit to me.

I have still not received any ford pass card, I have been meaning to research what cards I need, I expect that I will only ever need to charge in the Republic as the range should get me to anywhere in ni and back.

Would you mind measuring you key when you get it? Going to buy a RFID blocker pocket and want to make sure the key will fit.

Grahame and I should be able to confirm by Wednesday lunchtime what you actually get with the car in regards to documentation and if they do indeed come with a charging card as well. Although if they do - I would wonder why they sent them out in the post to start.

So at last I have the key photos....

This is what has been supplied with my Mach-E: (2 keys and 2 blank key blades that don't fit into the keys)

My dealer thinks I should have 2 of these (that the supplied blank key blades WILL fit into)

He's requested clarification from Ford UK

Which key type do you all prefer?

The silver ones are the right ones. The black ones are for a kuga!

Clearly the dipshits can't even organise us getting the proper designer keys that go with the car. I'm getting fed up hearing how this car has been a complete cluster f. of a launch.

Still no word on my missing VIN, two weeks in. It has been "escalated" by Hannah. My dealer is also going to raise it with Ford if no word by Friday, both seem at a loss as to why a 10 week car hasn't yet been allocated a VIN.

I have a type 1 to type 2 public charger for my outlander, and was wondering whether to sell it (for not very much) but decided to get an adaptor to make it type 2 to type 2 - I’ve already got it and seeing the updates above about missing cables, am glad I went with that choice.
