Panoramic roof roof is ok for me but I have the screen buzz that Ford are dismissive about even to their favourite customers (the USA).

Update from my dealer:

They have my car.
They’ve been given ‘permission’ to run the update.
They aim to get it to me for the end of the month.
Is anyone else’s dealer this slow!
My dealer says she’s working with limited information….tell me about it!?

That's really disappointing - I do not understand why they cannot have your car ready in a week at most ?

Hopefully it'll be earlier than they say ??

I know we all get frustrated and have a moan at times, and I agree Ford could not have screwed up this launch any more if they tried... But I must say Hannah, and my dealership have been absolutely fantastic all the way through. Always courteous and prompt in their responses even when the number of emails I sent probably amounted to harassment! They have worked so hard to resolve issues we had with Ford Lease and have really pulled out all the stops of us. If it wasn't for people like them I don't think we would have stuck it out for this car.

Just got this from my dealership today, it's my wife's space white and my business partners rapid red.

So chuffed, going to see it in the flesh tomorrow and picking up Monday afternoon. :D :D :D

Firstly, I agree 100% about Hannah and (my) dealership as well - always helpful and courteous, in the most difficult of circumstances and with little support!

And I agree 100,000% re: Ford, if ever there was an example of poor planning and execution, and a lack of regard for customers - this is it ! It seems astounding that they could actually produce such a great car ?

And great news re Monday for your cars ??

Mine was the same!! You'd hope Ford would support their dealers get this done quickly, but clearly not. Today is 19 months to the day since I placed my order. Trying not to get too annoyed as we're really on the home straight now - think I'll get mine at some point next week.

Not quite sure what the relevance of that is, but hope your "baby" is significantly lighter, faster, more manouevrable, less bouncy, more comfortable and requires less fuel ?

I think our cars have been on much the same timeline, and my dealer has said today it should be available for collection on Thursday - so hopefully the same for you ??

If you're parked up, you can hear a slight hum if there's no other noise in the car.

Not bad enough to reject the car but enough to disappoint that it isn't in keeping with the standard they claim to aspire to.

I picked the car up on thursday pm and after a few trips got home at 10pm started playing with the setup and then noticed it.

It sound like a badly sourced part, maybe buying the cheapest one possible.

Thanks ! I put a lot of pressure on them to get the e-call fix in and received the car on thurs pm. Amazing car with some issues like this!

No, I got the fix installed and the car ready to pickup within 8hours after they received it.

And reason given as to why they need 2 weeks to get your car ready ?

I have just had an email from Vodaphone to say that my free trial for the vehicle hotspot for my car is due to expire in 7 days. Firstly, have I had the car for nearly a month already, and secondly, in all of Ford's publicity material they harped on about how we would get 3 months OR 3GB data as a trial for the vehicle hotspot function. What a load of bull ? Another porkie pie from Ford. Or did they just forget to tell Vodaphone.

No reason. I have come to two conclusions , that either they have a lot of MME to sell and have to go through them or that they are rubbish.

I assumed as much, though I had no idea the origins of the idiom.

(Until now -- I just looked it up. Cockney rhyming slang is pretty cool!)
