In other news, I still don't have a car nor the handover date. Every step is just dragged out. This is probably the worst car buying experience of my life.
That is truly appalling.

It will be of little comfort but I have been in direct communication with Emma Berg and James Powell recently.

James wants to speak with me about my experience. I've sent him an overview highlighting all the key issues and failures that I have experienced noting to him that I am not alone and whilst I cannot speak for the whole community, many have experienced similar.

Lots of apologies and positive noises about taking this feedback on board and lessons learned etc etc. They also arranged a temporary demo car for me but ironically my car might just be ready around the same time.

As I said this probably doesn't mean much for you and others for the extremely poor treatment endured. At least I do feel I am at least being listened to for once. Whether it has any impact, well that's another thing.

Yeah we are having that exact thought… we are going away in the U.K. the second week of august so if it isnt ready for that holiday then pretty sure we will. don’t think I’ll be able to resist if it’s ready in advance though. Road trip with the Mach e sounds too good

Well, my car isn’t on ADELINE. Just checked it now and it’s now in a massive car park in Flushing. Oh well….let’s see how long it sits there for…

I had another OTA update fail last night ?
Checked WiFi before I parked up and was plugged in charging, so no idea why it failed.

Wait, is the U.K. getting OTA’s?? How many so far? I’ve not had a single one… nothing ever shows up.

I had one attempted 7th and one attempted last night. Assume they were the same one (1.3.0) that we got at the dealer

As it doesn't tell us a version number or any details of the fixes we don't know if it's the same one failing each time or loads of different ota individual releases that each fail.

Wait, is the U.K. getting OTA’s?? How many so far? I’ve not had a single one… nothing ever shows up.
I've had 2 so far. 1 on the 2/6 and the other on the 7/7. 1st didn't specify apart from saying it contained "bug squashes". The 2nd was for the ecall update (which my dealer did on 5/7) and a power up update which I have no idea what it does as I haven't noticed any difference.
Judging by the dates of the 2 that I have had it would seem that they will be sent during the first week of the month.

Exactly the same experience for me - not sure if it's something to try and fix, or just leave? I'd ask my dealer, but they wouldn't have a clue!

The higher ups at Ford have been aware of these issues for over a year. I (and many others) sent numerous emails, tweets and Facebook rants to those that we could and here we are STILL having the same issues. Dealer apathy, no information and worse of all for those of you that are still waiting NO eta's. I'm sorry, but if they haven't fixed the issues by now then I'm afraid they ain't going to.

Think the dealers are not making a profit so there isn't any incentive to sell these. Hope in the long run that doesn't spoil the sales of this car. You need a driven sales force (sorry for the pun) to push the car out the door.
