One week did about 950 miles. It was all good with the car and drive but when I charged last night its showing me 100% charge @280 miles. I had 343 for 100% initial few days. Dealer was saying it will settle in 2-3 weeks?? is it true? Mine RWD Extended range. I'm not taking about consumption but battery charge capacity. Is there an issue with my battery pack? Please share your stats.

this was all very “off the cuff” - I can’t actually bring myself to watch it with the sound on yet!

It was perfect with the sound on, Tony. Try it!

Audio off and it's just two guys staring at one another for minutes on end while a third person awkwardly tries to wiggle into the conversation but can't seem to muster the courage.

On the navigation, certain charging networks are not on there. There are some Source London chargers that do not show on the map. Is there somewhere to report this? There is a location marker but they do not show up as chargers.
Check on navigation settings. Maybe some are disabled.

Question for the group on Android Auto.

Has anybody been using it.

I've been using the Ford navigation and found it fine.
Wanted to try Google maps on Android and it's a world of pain.

Phone has to be connected to car by cable for AA to work, is that correct.

It can take three or for goes to get it working, and each time i have to select my phone from a list and push a connect to AA deep in the menus. This can not be right.

If i can get it to work it's very slow 3,4 seconds on each button push.

Is this how it works or have i just got a rubbish phone. Samsung 7 note.

How are you all getting on with AA.

Some quick answers to your questions…

1) FordPass charging setup is just done via the web and doesn’t need in car activation.

2) It’s always on at startup - just double tap the button on the steering wheel (circled in yellow) to disable it each time you start the car. I also wish there was a default OFF option.

3) The blue bar in front of the car icon in the drivers display is always on unless you disable the “Distance Indication” option Under “Settings” —> “Driver Assistance” —> “Pre-Collision Assistance”

4) Don’t know - others have reported similar issues - but charging locations are accurate for me.

5) PAAK is disabled and unavailable on the Mach-E in the UK (much to everyone’s annoyance)

Hope this helps.
I don’t have that button?!?

Does anyone know if the wing mirrors can be tilted down when reversing automatically?
Trying to keep an eye on your rims when reversing? I’veprogrammed a seat pre-set onto the number 3 setting... the seat position is identical, all that changes are the wing mirrors, which tilt down as much as possible for a view of the back tires. I just tap 3 every time I’m reversing into a spot and want to keep an eye on my distance to the curb.

SR vs ER difference? I know the ER has the Advanced Active Park Assist - but wouldn’t have expected a difference in the active cruise system…

I haven’t seen anyone else jump in on this one - so I will. :)

First off don’t worry - if you charge your battery to 100% you will be storing about 88kWh of electricity every time (certainly for the first few years.)

What is changing every time you charge to 100% are the external factors that the car uses to estimate your range. These include how hot or cold the weather is, how hard you have been driving the car since you got it, and what accessories you might be using (aircon etc)

The reduction on total range you are seeing is becuase the car is calculating that you use more energy per mile than the default setting was at delivery. It’s learning your driving habits (be they good or bad).

You can reset the driving history which will likely improve your range estimates back up to where they were before - but these may end up being unrealistic based on your driving style and will drop again after time.

Any questions - give me a shout.

How noticeable/intrusive is the Lane centring? I saw a review where the reviewer was almost surprised by it when he went round a corner. Is it so annoying that you always want to turn it off or is it ok to live with?

Yep, same...only connects via the USB cable, not too worried about that as my phone doesn't charge without it (Samsung Galaxy 6). Mine connects first time to be fair, but there are a few glitches with it, the phone quality is crap through android but google maps is ok. I use Waze instead of Google Maps and the inbuilt Satnav, that works really well and Spotify is fine.

I think it’s one of those things you might get used to, but I found the tugging on the wheel a bit intrusive on the narrow country roads where I live. So for this reason I disable it when driving on countryside roads.

On a motorway or dual carriageway though it’s brilliant, and when used with inteligent cruise it’s a dream.
