Can I get some advice. I’m at a charge point waiting to get to 80%. I’m on holiday and there are not many fast chargers on IOW. Someone had turned up waiting. Do I just charge to 80% (30 mins more) or move? This is my first time fast charging.
If you can get by with 80%, then it’s the polite thing to do, but if you need 100%, then you shouldn’t feel obliged to move.

Personally I’d only go to 80% on a rapid if someone was waiting. If I needed 100%, (which I have never needed on a planned trip), I’d move from the rapid to the nearest 7kW for the last 20%

Anyone else having problems with the app?
It won’t load at all today. Using an iPhone.
Had to uninstall and reinstall.
Must of got stuck updating the app.
Seems ok now.

I had my ecall fix done by my dealer and also had the OTA update done successfully it took a couple of weeks for the recall message to go. I also got a letter from Ford last week (dated 6 July) saying that it needed to go to my dealer or wait for an OTA update. Just goes to show how slow their systems are. If your car is showing SYNC 4 software version :21139_Product revision:263 then you have had the ecall fix and are up to date

I felt bad and moved at 65%. I have to go back to fill up for the return journey.
You should’nt feel bad, and certainly not at 65%! But hopefully they were grateful.

There are defintely problems with the Android version 3.27 - but I think the iPhone version seems to be ok ?

For those on Android, I looked on Google reviews and at least 50 people have complained in the last couple of days that the 3.27 is unusable ?

Hopefully Ford might do something about it ................

I have been (trying) using FordPass app for the last 4 years or so and in ALL that time it has NEVER worked properly. You try to contact 'guide' but can only do it via app so if it isn't working you are stuffed. Some functions don't work and it keeps crashing. Ford bring out an update and then some of the things that didn't work work, some that did work don't and it still keeps crashing. If Ford haven't managed to sort it out by now I don't give much hope of them fixing it in the next 4 years. You don't really need it anyway as you can set up the car from the touchscreen. It is absolutely hopeless.

I received the above message the other day from the Ford Account on the forum.

Does anyone have the email address for the UK Executive and/or Head of Customer Service? I'll follow up with them and see if there's any news. Sadly, it's been three weeks since this was first raised and escalated as an issue ?

Yes, I did notice you can only contact the "guide" from the App which is quite difficult when it's not working. Perhaps that's why Ford thinks there's never any issues with the App ?

It had been working fine for me, and it is more convenient for me to tweak things like the charging schedule etc using the App - plus in my case, the App is the only way to access/link to the Ford Connected Charger ?

I also use the App to track my Failed OTA Updates ?

You're right though, it is pretty hopeless ?

Hi all,

Just a quick question on accessories

I have had my car for nearly 6 weeks now, and am still waiting for the rear seat mats, boot liner/tray, and front/rear mud-flaps.

I know my dealer ordered them promptly once we finalised the deal.

Is anyone else still waiting for various accessories to turn-up?

I find it hard to believe they are out of stock given we are among the first batch of owners!
