Hi Tracy,
have you checked the website for available stock, available within two weeks? There are a few specs and colours available.
I believe Ford will allow you to cancel your order and pick one up that is already here, your spec and colour may be on there.
I collected mine in about 10 days.
I must say I did think of that myself, but decided I wanted MY car that I'd spent time thinking about and ordering rather than someone's cast off! Should be picking it up on Thursday week. Ordered it on-line late April this year.

I emailed Hannah and this was her response. Ford had sent me an email with a vin which is not mine.
Good grief- the vin is normally (in my experience) generated by ford and you find it on your ford account.

In my experience Hannah is usually right. Not helpful I know...

Hi Tony,
you must have more patience than me! It took me a while to decide but once I had there was no way I could wait ???.

Know what you mean- I used to be like that until I retired and moved from the South East to Cornwall.

Hey man- here comes another wave!... ?‍♂

So if I am charging through a commando socket can I charge at set times to benefit from cheaper rates through the night?
Yes. This is what I am using. You do have to tweek the maximum charge level though as I find I only get 15 - 17% between 0100 and 0400 so if you are st 65% and have maximum set at 85% it will start charging before your set start time. Why you can't charge just for your set time regardless of SOC is beyond me. If you can I haven't found out how yet.

I’m on Octopus Go ? and using a dumb charger. I set charge time on the Mach-E from 1am to 5am. I find the car charges quicker than it actually schedules and finishes well before 4:30am.
I do mess around with the charge percentage a lot to make sure its starting and finishing within the slotted time though.

Are you in Portland?
Its just dawned on me.
I think I drove passed you driving in the opposite direction. When I was leaving Portland a couple of weeks ago.

I was wondering what I was going to do once I had the car.

Estimated delivery in the next 2 weeks.
My routine is wake up and check the progress.

I’m now waiting to get on a boat from Mexico, next departure is the 26th, two days.

im not sure if I can muster the same enthusiasm.

at least it will be a 71 plate

Yes I am. Depends what sort of time it was. I usually leave work in Weymouth about 4.30. I try and keep a look out for other MME's but so far the only other one I have seen on the road was @wonky_donkeys' when we went to Norfolk a few weeks ago for a meet up.

When you eventually get the car hopefully you will drive it and have enormous fun with it.

I would be VERY surprised if you get delivery in the next 2 weeks if you are waiting for a boat from Mexico. Cruise takes at least 3 weeks and then it has it's tour of Antwerp/Flushing/Dagenham

Is this still the case? There's been pictures on Facebook of large numbers of Mach-Es waiting at the docks in Southampton. I wonder if the newer builds are skipping the Antwerp QC mess?

ford gave me the wrong VIN and delivery info, turns out its not my car I've been tracking that was suppose to be delivered in 2 weeks. I have several months to wait now

I spoke to Hannah a couple of days ago and they are definitely still going through the Antwerp QA/QC process. Some relief from a quality perspective but not so much from a delivery date perspective

I would take what Hannah says with a pinch of salt to a degree also.

My car arrived at the dealers 2 weeks before she said it would leave Flushing.

You can find her on Linked In/Instagram to see what her previous occupation was.......Then make up your own mind.
