Popped up to ASDA today to pick some bits up. Parked in the Blue Badge bay (Yes, I have one...), went off and did some shopping (can't afford Waitrose now we've bought the Mustang)
When I got back to the car I was conscious that prople walking by were giving it a long look. Jumped in, looked up and standard right in front of the car was a Girl (8-10yrs old) staring transfixed at the car. Mum came up to my door and asked if she could take a pic of her daughter in front of the car as 'It's her favourite' Naturally I said yes, and we had an impromptu photo session. How nice!
Nice weather always seems to bring out the best in people!

I just went up my local fire station with my 7 year old as he wanted to see some of the fire engines. They were having an open day/car wash day.

I drove In looking for somewhere to park and ended up in line for the car wash! Needless to say, they didn’t clean it (as it’s still in showroom condition) but spent a long time asking questions about it. Considering how many adverts on TV Ford has done I’m still quite surprised by this. I got a little complex having about 10 firefighters all staring at me in the Q. I figure they haven’t used the jaws of life on one of them yet.

Anyway, they let me drive through unwashed (after a small donation ?) and my lad got to play in a fire engine.

On the way back stopped at Cobham services but only getting 31 KW on the IONITY charger
Anyone else had any issues like this?
Hope this isn’t normal as we have a road trip to Munich Germany in 10 days time!!

May have been the charger - it’s a big issue in the US with Electrify America where there can be big differences between chargers at the same location. Did you try disconnecting and moving to a different charging unit?

I know the feeling! Battling to get Android Auto working and the car does not see the phone as a source of music files. Calling and receiving texts etc works fine. Even the Ford Pass app connected o.k. I presume I need to delete the pairing and start again? Picked mine up today and waiting until it's been detailed by the end of the week before any pics. My number plate does not have a green stripe so does this actually matter? My dealer said they order the blanks in bulk ahead of time so that's why there's no green stripe.

I dont have the exact length but a good backup you can buy a nice extension lead for the granny charger. I bought a 15m one with RCD all IP65 and is great. Used it several times already when visiting family.

Good find. I 've managed to thread the lead via the garage door gap between the door and the frame at the bottom and moved the car closer to the door as I can make do until the charging unit is fitted on Wednesday.

She’s home and… I LOVE IT. This is certainly a car that stirs the soul! So glad I ordered one and now part of the club!

So I’ve done close to 200 miles in my first of driving achieving 3 miles/kw with a heavy foot in untamed so pretty pleased with that.

Functionality all seems absolutely fine, and confirmed the puddle lights were working! First charge on the granny charger going well - glad I’ve got a proper charger on its way though.

Funnily about 30 mins into my first journey I saw my first grey pony in the wild - was anyone around the A505 near Royston yesterday shortly before 12pm?

Only thing I can’t get to work yet is the My Journeys - not sure if that’s to do with having CarPlay running?

Finally a shoutout to Gates of Stevenage for a smooth sales and handover process - been very pleased with the end-to-end journey!

I had a similar issue with the Ionity chargers in Milton Keynes. Changed units and second on worked fine.

Saw that this morning while I was looking for something else. Touch the car symbol top right on the screen.
select settings and it's there somewhere!

After that I spotted an AWD ER, also in red, on the M1 North by Sheffield. Two in one day is a new record for me.

I have the same transit date (09/13/21) and placed the order on 07/09/21.
The dealer gave me a probable delivery date of 20/11/21.
