I noticed on several occasions that the CHAdeMO charging plugs are often unused, and other compatible plugs are all in use. Has anyone in the U.K. used a CHAdeMO adapter?

Yes, Ive had the car for a couple of months.

Did Portmouth and back (380mile) - BP 150KW charger did the business
Yorkshire Dales and back (320mile) - again BP - 50KW chargers
London and back (250mile) - 150KW charger for a 20 min top up

All good. No issues. Other EV drivers have been courteous.
was the Yorkshire Dales a raodtrip/vacation kind of trip? were there enough chargers around?

i have the same model as you. what kind of mls/kwh did you get on those trips?

I was staying at a cottage in the Dales. I intentionally stopped at Lancaster Park and Ride just off the M6 on the way up. 4 or 6 50KW chargers and got the car to 80pc. I had another hour to go to the cottage. There was then a 50kw charger at Bedale which was half hour away. Before heading home, I plugged in using the 13amp. It was fine, got to 90% - took a while but I carried an extension lead in the frunk !

I have averaged 3mKWH since I had the car - 1300 mile approx.

Never did find out. One or two people offered thoughts but they didn't correspond to when it appeared on my screen. Hasn't happened for weeks now. ??
I reported it to Ford and sent a video. It is a fault. It only appears with the MME Nav. Google Maps works fine. It is also random. It isn't a countdown to a corner. It isn't based on signs. It is random. Report it and it will get looked at sooner by Ford. They know about it. It is a software issue. They won't replace the 10" screen, even if they had any parts to do this.

Got the windscreen recall notice in FordPass today.

Will probably get onto dealer in the new year and see if they can do the software updates at the same time.

Good luck on the software updates. It took my dealer 2.5 days to update the APIM module, never mind anything else that was listed (which they didn't do).

I have eheat and the Aircon on when required (partic on short trips) for both comfort and keeping the window clear.

I've found on a long run, up to speed, that the windows will stay clear and that the heated seats are enough.

I've been pleased with the range and have had no problems with DC charging. I've had to wait for a charger once.

If I'm planning a long run then it's better to set a destination time, preheat before you go and I AC charge to 90 or 95pc. About town or local runs then I keep the car at 60pc to avoid it sitting at a high state of charge for several days without being used.

Hope that helps. Glenn

Still a learning curve for us I think and that's where this forum comes in handy, to compare experiences. I do dread if we get a spell of several days or more where the temperature barely gets above zero - how many miles will be get out of a charge then?!?!

Also I'm wondering what the MME will be like driving in snow!
Living in Scotland we have had a reasonable amount of snow and sub zero temperatures. My ext range was 180 to 220, but now in the last few days it is back up to about 260 with the 8 Deg weather. In the snow the AWD is fantastic, I suspect the RWD version would be like any high torque vehicle and spin like hell if you put your foot down too hard.

I am averaging anywhere from 3 mls/kwh to 5 mls/kwh for short trips of 1 miles to 6 miles. this is in England where temps have been from 2 C to 11C and back to 6C today. I turn aircon on and off in short blasts to defog the windows.

260 miles in current climate for AWD ER seems very possible.

Yeah I just got that email. Still not having it done. I’ll live with the recall notice forever.

Same e.mail here, and a recall notice has appeared in the app regarding panoramic roof.
