Can we mod to a leased car? How does that affect the dealership valuation or are we forced to buy the car if modded?
I don't think so as the car belongs to the lease company and you are renting it for the term. Look at your terms and conditions.

What colour did you go for? This is mine below, photos don’t do it justice! Needs a name now!

That is the colour I wanted (I went for the cheapest black colour). I think they should have called it disco white. I bet it's amazing in the sunlight.
On the name you could call it casper.

I think it's listed as "Space White", but yeah the same thing to all intents and purposes! haha.

It's honestly the best car i've driven / owned, ever. I'm used to driving our forklifts with OPD at the warehouse for my business so activated this right away and, wow, the experience is all the more enjoyable for me.

One thing i was confused about and perhaps someone can give me advice on this (@
Wonky_Donkey / @portlandg maybe) is the green lines beside the image of the car on the top console, sometimes they are green in parallel, then one side green, then randomly the little car image goes orange, i'm baffled as to what this might be?

Other than that (oh, and the dealer somehow heavy-handedly screwing my plates in and cracking the plastic), it's amazing and i can't see myself getting bored any time soon! :D
That's your lane keeping assist display. When both sides are green you are good when one goes orange you are drifting that way and the car should steer the other way. You can turn it off by pressing bottom right button on left of steering wheel twice

Off to Gatwick shortly. Wonder if I'll see another MME on the way. Also, will they wave when I do. Big question.

The lines are to do with the lane centering system. When they’re green the car is happy with your driving and your in the middle of your lane….when they’re Amber the car thinks you’re too close to either side of the lane depending on what sides Amber ?
The lines disappear when the car can’t detect a lane. Only the lines change colour in my car but then I’ve not had any software updates yet. ?
When you activate the cruise control with the setting active the car will attempt to stay in the lane although it’s not self driving. It quite handy on the motorways.

I'm obviously way too slow today ? You got two or three good answers already?

Ah! That makes perfect sense! i did wonder why the steering seemed to be auto-correcting me when i HAD to go over lane lines to merge ?

Also makes perfect sense - i'll leave it on for now i think as it doesn't detract from the amazing drive and fun i'm having with it.

Was saying to the Mrs last night how it's almost made me feel like i did when i first passed my driving test (like, any excuse to get out in the car for a drive somewhere) which was very unexpected, but very welcome!

Thanks for all the advice guys, and @Wonkey_Donkey - no problem, thanks for reverting anyway! haha.

Not up that way, but if you're ever in the Plymouth area and see a Space White MME (i've only seen one other down here, thus far), i'll be sure to give you a flash AND a wave for good measure ?

If you use the indicator/turn signal it knows you are lane changing and doesn’t try to fight you :)

Finally picked up car. thanks to those who helped with my impatience.

Fantastic as a Passenger! Not been allowed to drive yet as wifey has suddenly become territorial over the car, but tomorrow is my turn!

one question, when Listening to Spotify music using car play, I keep getting a dab station name popping up on the screen. Any ideas why?

thanks

The repeated DAB station name alert is the Intelligent suggestions “feature” (aka annoyance) ?

To stop it from constantly suggesting things you will need to create a driver profile in settings. As part of setting up a profile it will ask if you want suggested items - click “No”.

The pop ups will stop after that ?

Is that the number plate plastic or the bumper plastic? It's not as if they're not doing this day in day out? (Does a double negative even make sense)
