I went to the launch on Tuesday at Lotus Surrey and was really impressed by the car.The new Lotus EV SUV is something else. Quite expensive but amazing.
Thanks for that, the Master Technician has said it is safe to drive on short journeys only apparently, so they have taken it back in to the dealer and I'm awaiting a hire car...hope it's not for 4 weeks though!!!! All was ok until it went in....sods law!The update that they applied simply stops the car from stranding itself if the junction box goes, which it appears yours now has. You’re not seeing a loss in power because you’re a RWD I believe - for AWD when this happens they cut out one of the motors and the loss of power is very noticeable.
Not the first person I’ve seen have this happen recently. Car should be drivable whilst your dealer awaits the part, which I’m afraid might be a while based on what I’m seeing in the Facebook MME group; some people are being told that it could be 4-6 weeks.
You can't really see from the photo but a lot of that black front is air intakes through to the front wheels and batteries. Honestly it's a real head turner in real life, though I agree that yellow isn't really working. Not my cup of tea even if I could afford it. The front looks like a pumpkin with the carved out face, especially in that yellow colour.? Could this be the Geely influence?
Ouch !!!Disaster struck the other day , let my son borrow my mach e , as he was going along the motorway a stone was thrown up and hit the roof , unfortunately it hit the edge of the glass and cracked it . Now for the wait to get it replaced![]()

I can tell you now. Headlight rubbing on bumper (or the other way round). Confirmed will be fixed under warranty. Headlight/bumper to be realigned plus bumper to be resprayed. Sheet of thin paper can't be slid between light and bumper. You can tell me - I'm a Mach-E Doctor![]()
Streuth! Hope you have the same sort of luck I did when a rock the size of your fist struck a great hole almost in my windscreen on M6 over Spaghetti, Autoscreens couldn’t get a screen for the insurance claim I made, waited a month, went into dealer for screen recall consultation when I was told somebody cancelled their recall so dealer had one in stock, would let me have it as part of my screen recall at no cost to me. Insurance claim cancelled, policy excess saved, happy daze-I love my life?,Disaster struck the other day , let my son borrow my mach e , as he was going along the motorway a stone was thrown up and hit the roof , unfortunately it hit the edge of the glass and cracked it . Now for the wait to get it replaced![]()

Be mindful if your hire car is provided by Enterprise. My 5 month old Mache as been in my local ford dealer since 12 th October. The dealer provided me with a petrol fiesta. Thanks for that, the Master Technician has said it is safe to drive on short journeys only apparently, so they have taken it back in to the dealer and I'm awaiting a hire car...hope it's not for 4 weeks though!!!!
