20 to 23 weeks. I'm not patient enough for this!

The chances are, at the moment, if you factory ordered any Ford you would probably have to wait that long any way. According to my local dealer most makes are in short supply. Given that most of the UK cars are made in Europe 20 to 23 weeks from Mexico is not too bad. And that's including to have it built as well. Mine has supposedly have been made already and I am still looking at 14 to 16 weeks. I've been waiting nine months already so another 3 or so is a walk in the park. Hang in there

I got the same Network error message right after submitting my finance application. The order status online says Finance Application in progress, please complete, but there is no way to complete it online. I called my dealer, he has my order on his system but wasn't aware that the finance application could be completed by the dealership over the phone. He's going to check with head office and call me back. Mine is 14-16 weeks.

Did it just give the one finance option where you have a final payment or was there a selection you could pick from? (thanking you in advance for the info)

(when I've ordered any car from Ford (that's not from stock) there's always been about 3 months to delivery)

It was pretty much self sourced finance, or Ford Options (see below)

After going through the ordering process up until the finance stage, I then got in touch with my local Ford dealer and agreed the following;

1. I would do a part exchange with the dealer who will undoubtedly give a better deal than the automated online quotation.

2. I also hate PCP deals that have the final huge balloon payment. I will organise finance through the dealer nearer the time of delivery.

That’s really good to hear that the dealerships are engaging and being flexible on how these are delivered and paid for.

Yep... Ford may very well have struck a good balance here.

Message from Rebecca (MME Conciege team). If any one wants to make changes to their preorder you CAN'T do it online. You have to speak to the Customer Relationship team. Apparently she is getting a few calls/emails

What date did they give you as an estimate? My first edition confirmed order says 20-22 weeks!
