I think that as we paid the dealer (via Ford when we preordered) the £1000 will be taken into account at the dealers. So if you are going to put a £5000 deposit down you only part with £4000. I hope that is what they will do anyway

Just learn that the dealer can offer a better part-exchange than the online one. Do you think I can have a chance to discuss with them now? I did not opt for the part-exchange when confirming.

So you can go without finance and then sort that out with the dealer before delivery separately to the web process? Also if I am looking at a leasing company would that be the same? It has been before when I order the car then the finance people get in touch with the garage to sort payment information.

I’m 14- 16 weeks as well and my date is 2nd April.

I know what you mean. I’m still in shock that I actually got the email as well! It goes to show that Ford gets it right at the important bit....when they’re actually getting someone to order a car! ?

Although didn’t go smoothly. My finance has been cancelled and I’ve to contact my dealer. I see that seems to be common thing so will see how that develops!

Either way I’m sure the forum will pick up once the shock wears off...
