What date did they give you as an estimate? My first edition confirmed order says 20-22 weeks!

Hi there, I am about to put through my order (once they chance the colour) and also wish to speak to my local dealer about PX and Finance. I have contacted them about it.

When it comes to placing the order, what do I put it through as? Cash? Or is there an option to 'contact dealer'?

Getting real, seeing one in the flesh in 10 days!

You and everyone else. I think it might be a legal FCA requirement that car finance agreements have to be signed at dealer and can't be done online. Either that or it is to give the dealer some money out of this car. I think they get a flat rate fee for doing the finance.

Aha, so I just go through finance online and it will default me to the dealer anyway?

The message says 'your finance application has been cancelled' with that 'Contact dealer' message. So I doubt that is intentional. It's just another example of their IT issues. I will be ringing their team before I attempt that. It's illogical to proceed with ordering without establishing this step first. Or contacting the dealer straight away if that message comes up to ensure my application is done asap.

I’m sure I have agreed finances without going somewhere. I had a pdf that I signed online.

It has to do a credit check etc did you go through that application process

Went to my dealer at Derby this morning to set up financing but there system is not live to do the Mach e, instead had to fill out a paper copy so they can put it through when it’s live their end
It been topical as nothing had run smoothly so far
Also wanted a tow bar fitted and dealer explained it was £300 cheaper for them to do it when the car arrives
As anyone else been told the same with tow bars
But at least the car has been ordered???

Concierge told us to contact dealer and they would have answers for us, no they don't. I hate that they will be getting commission on something that they have done nothing for.

The communication breakdown between the mache team and the dealerships is embarrassingly bad. Mine at Stevenage know next to nothing . I guess I’ll just have to wait for them to contact me when they get up to speed.

So this perhaps is why it says "cancelled" on the finance, the systems aren't working or aren't setup to do the finance application.

I haven't clicked on 'order' yet for this exact reason.. I need to ensure the finance is approved before I order rather than a calamity of having finding this out half way through the build process.

Utter p. Poor customer service so far.

I'm sat here with not much to do while the ad break is on during the F1 qualifying and I thought I would just check my order in my Ford account and I noticed that under the vehicle spec it says that my vehicle (RWD ER) has a usable battery of 98kwh. Now this is interesting because in the compare the model specs tab on the main website it says usable battery is 88kWh with total battery size of 98kwh. I am wondering if the figure on my account is a misprint or if indeed that is where the extra range comes from

Happy to have converted by preorder today (RWD ER) and I’ve got the 14-16 week wait time, with an estimated delivery date of 3rd April (preorder was on 18 Nov 2019). Same issue with the IT failing at the finance stage - got the ‘network error’ message. Tried calling the dealer, but no one could help me, so will try again in a few days to give them time to sort these issues out!

Preordered in January, same delivery date as you though and exact same error as the rest of us. Still it’s good to finally have a date. Sold my Mercedes 2 weeks ago in anticipation.

I've spoken to the dealer who is keen to assist and awaiting a call back. One issue they say us if I apply now for finance the offer will last for only 60days so after that time i'd have to reapply! I told them I need to know before I click 'go ahead' on the site for the order AFTER I know the finance is ok.
