Argh tier 4 has put an end to our planned visit to see the mach-e tomorrow. So sad. Any photos anyone has taken would be much appreciated please!

What's the electronic thing I've circled in blue - I don't remember seeing that before.

Yeah, me visit is cancelled too. Lucky I got to see earlier in the year, but really wanted to check out a few more things in depth.

Why are you asking us to make a decision for you that only you can make. If you want my advice, after all the comments you have made on here, it would be to buy a Tesla
Funny how one loses track of the thread after you press ignore. It does make for a for a more informed and pleasant read though.

So did I, but the flat 12v battery and families bringing their children put pay to that. I’m sure it said 2 people only

We specifically asked if we could bring our children as unable to leave them with anyone due to covid. We were told that was fine as we are considered as one bubble. Also it is a family car so wanted to check it suited the whole family. Doesnt matter now though, 10.10 tomorrow morning I will mainly be watching review videos rather than seeing the real thing!

I was planning to bring my toddler and partner too, called ahead to check and they were fine with it.

It is my theory that Grimaldi do most, if not all, of Ford's shipping. My last 3 cars have been factory orders, made in EUR and have been shipped via Grimaldi. Monitoring their shipping schedules from Veracruz most go to Antwerp. My belief is that our cars will be shipped there and then transhipped to a ship to Southampton or sent to the VHC in Flushing, then shipped to Tilbury to be held/distributed at/from Dagenham. The reason for this post? I have been monitoring the schedules for the past 3 weeks and there has been some significant changes which could affect those of us who have had their cars built or are due to be built very soon. Last week 3 ships were scheduled to leave before the end of the month. Today there is none. Next month, at the moment, there are 3 scheduled departures. 2/1 x 2 and 29/1 arriving Antwerp 22/1, 26/1 and 21/2. I know there are some on here that have got estimated delivery dates for mid March, I'm one, so if that date is to be met then our cars should be on one of these sailings. Of course it is entirely possible that these sailings could change just as quickly, but by the same taken it is possible to add another sailing. If reports on other threads on this forum are correct then there could about 3000-4000 cars at the plant waiting to be shipped. They must be running out of space and will need to get some shipped, a) to make room for more made cars but more importantly to get cars to customers as soon possible so they can get paid for them. Presumably it is not just containers that are in the wrong places. It seems that car carriers could be too. I'm going to keep my eye on the schedules

the problem we had is that the kids were climbing all over the car, not wearing masks and touching everything so every time the family left, the car had to be sanitised which took about 10 minutes.

We were told, when we asked, that children didn't need to wear masks. We were surprised, and our children would both have been wearing masks and gloves, to protect others as well as themselves. All irrelevant because we didn't get to see it today.

You had, or at least should have had, an hour with the car. Surely you could wait 10 min for the car to be sanitised.

There was a huge backlog. 3 groups being shown around the car. I was lucky to 10 minutes.

I’m beginning to wonder if there’s anything Ford can actually do to satisfy you...?

Probably Ford have been watching this forum and brought their families just to annoy you...?
