Don't know how common the 'new' key is, but for those that haven't had the pleasure.........

Will the silver finish on the buttons wear away eventually? Although it does have a frunk/froot opening button.

They've also made some changes to the range display, and having done one long drive with it this morning I'm not sure I like it.

The blurb said it will now show the range in "most favourable driving conditions", so having had the winter months of my standard range showing between 210 and 230 after a full charge, I suddenly had 279 this morning when I left. My 125 mile journey was carried out with the "this journey" data showing 3.3km/h most of the time and occasionally 3.5, but the range guess-o-meter basically fell off a cliff during my drive, ending up at 45% battery and 92 miles left. I can do basic maths and call this bullsh*t!!

I preferred it when it underestimated tbh!

100% this!

This update is a major regression. GOM is now totally unreliable.

Ford need to fix this.

Interesting is your experience.

Since I charged to 100% overnight as I always do before a day out.

100% charge read 302 miles as it has done since end of last summer.

Actual achievable range ended up around 230miles as it has done since end of last summer so no change since this update.

Everything else in update, I think, is not relevant or of interrst to me because I don’t use the car’s own nav system.

So no real change, car remains amazing having clocked up 84,000 miles today and loving every mile like the very first on that rainy day in June ‘21 when I took it for blast up M1 to Leeds?

Waddacari!!!!!

I'm just charging up again now for my return journey's later so I'm interested to see if it settles down after a couple of charge-drive cycles.

I too don't use the car sat nav currently, always use Android Auto and google maps, but I would use it to nav to a fast charger if necessary so it pre-conditions for sure.

Mine hasn't settled down at all. I've done over 500 miles since.

Still over estimating my range when charging finished, and always showing 235 miles at 90% charge.

It never told me I had this range in sub 6° temperatures before, and I still don't. The car is just now displaying the same over estimated range.

Having said that, I do totally agree that this car is awesome ?

Received the Radio presets update today 23-PU0110-RAD-PS. Wouldn't download overnight so had to "force it" today which I have done with a couple of updates in the past. The mobile signal where I live is so bad that only one signal strength indicator bar used to light up on the phone.

Now, since Vodafone have switched off the 3G signal, the 4G signal is non existent (no signal strength bars) and the phone reverts to EDGE instead of 3G and I think that the UK Mache -e's use Vodafone for the internal SIM.

So, I tried again today at a place I know has a good signal coverage (all bars lit) and selected to start the update immediately and it worked. Presumably due to the very good signal strength (at 4G) plus faster downloading. This place happens to be a nice Marina which is very relaxing, sitting outside a nice cafe, in a sun trap with excellent rolls and sandwiches and cake.

I have to tell my wife, sorry dear, we've got to go out to the Marina as the car needs updating. ;)
