Does anyone remember an idea from someone like uber a couple of years ago where you wouldn't own a car but instead would pay for one to do your journey?

The idea was you would request a self driving car which be from a pool of cars and would be idle from it's last journey in wherever that completed. It would come to your location, do your "taxi" journey then wait at where it drops you off until requested by it's next customer.

So you may not even need to own a car at some point in the future!

Which goes back to my theory that the range is so low especially on the SR that it is a "shopping" car for some people and not a decent enough solution yet.

Company car tax on petrol/diesel cars is now exorbitant. And tax on personal petrol was working out at just under £300 a month for me.

Which is why the current deal on Full EV's is incredible. 3 Year lease is a no brainer

Its the only reason we could afford this due to the low BIK, in fact this will be the first time we have a company car!

It will be replacing my wife's trusty 2008 Suzuki Swift! Bit of an upgrade!

It would seem that Mine and @Wonky_Donkey VIN's that our RWD cars are based on the US Select and our AWD cars are based on their Premium. Just for anyone else's info who has the last 11 digits of their VIN the first 6 are likely to be the following:
RWD - WF0TRI
AWD - WF0TR3
