Just got into my car this evening and the icon indicating there was a download completed was on the screen next to the car icon. I clicked on it and it took me to the system download screen which helpfully reported “Your system is up-to-date”. “No worries”, I thought my myself. “I’ll just use @tonesto7 handy Widget Tool”. No dice ? for some reason, widget tool seems to be broken and not returning OTA information after this update. Any ideas?
Oh, and still no BlueCruise or Remote Frunk - the first two things I checked ?
Would the API's be broken on purpose?
I've been using it to check as I've been waiting for 1.71 to resolve and same thing, disappeared a few days ago.
I'm glad us early adopters are super patient!
Take your time Ford, tomorrow is perfectly okay but tonight is better!

Maybe we are close to OTA for BC and for many of us a reliable Paak. ~66 days left for OTA availably of BC. Exciting.
Did they announce a specific date?

so, I know how to verify the version of the FordPass app on my phone... plugging along with FP 3.35.2 and everything seems working fine on my old J7 Galaxy running Android 9.

But I am not so sure about all the various versions and individual modules that can be updated via OTA. Can someone point me to a post or video on how to review to verify whether the car is 'fully updated', or not?

Sadly, that’s a non-trivial exercise that requires access to specialized equipment and software. Or you could ask one of the kind people here to run your VIN for you and let you know. There are several who have offered there services to others, but I don’t want to step out of line and volunteer them. A quick search should let you know who to DM though and ask for help. ?
Oh, and no. I can’t do it. I rely on the kindness and generosity of others ?

hhhmmmm, unfortunate that Owners can't easily see the current versions of all 'updatable' modules and verify whether they are up to date, or not. Also unfortunate that there aren't any actual 'release notes' per version, known bugs, workarounds, etc in a searchable Knowledge base online like we've come accustomed to with Software products.

Getting updates, verifying updates, logging bugs, and decent release notes are pretty basic expectations for software maintenance and version control. Also very helpful for developers to track and prioritize new development balanced with bug fixes, and building test cases to make sure new development doesn't break old fixes.

There’s actually a lot of good rationale behind this and the subject has been discussed at great length. It’s pretty difficult to quickly provide a synopsis. The best I can suggest is to begin reading and searching, looking for terms like update to guide you.

And of course after I comment on it, I saw the icon again while shuffling trash cans around tonight. Still no update details other than "Your system is up to date" except now I have a greyed-out "Update Now" button next to the release notes. Still no notice yet in FordPass, but it looks like most of the other 2.3.0 features are there (games, new volume slider, etc) so I guess I'll get a notification once the update completes?

I have the checkmark. Showed up a few days ago. When I tap on it, it says I’m updated to 2.1.0. I’ve actually been running 2.3.0 for a few weeks now. Whatevs.

Anyone else's car charge to 100% after they got the phantom update? Only time my car ever did it.

It appears that some folks are getting 2.1 after 2.3. This isn't the first time we have seen them appear out of order.

No, I had 2.1 before 2.3. It’s just that SYNC’s update screen is still stuck on 2.1. I got the alert re 2.3 thru FordPass.
