Actually, they are trying to get it setup as a refund to the dealer so that the 5K comes directly off the purchase price.
I've seen that as well. I thought it was supposed to be implemented by now and hope it will be when mine arrives around May.

Yes, when they first passed the legislation in January the utility commission had until June to put the program in place, but with covid things got put on the back burner. So, they are continuing what was supposed to be an interim program until they get more pressing matters handled. What bugs me more is the EVSE program is not currently available in any form, they haven't said anything about whether it will be retroactive, and they aren't even going to discuss it until December. I should have my car sometime in mid-late January, the included charger is not weather sealed, and I will have to charge outside. So, I probably need to get a charger before they make their final decision, and it would suck to miss out on the $500 by a matter of weeks due to bureaucratic indifference.

The owner manual indicates the mobile charger is IP67 rated, so it shouldn't be an issue using it with a properly covered outside outlet.

Is there a round of build assignments this week or is it next? I think they are on a bi-weekly basis still.
It's now more then 2 weeks that they didn't announce anything has far has build dates are concern, maybe they are waiting to see if the're going to have cancellations after announcing their new lease payments.

Or they've scheduled as far out as is necessary given that almost all the cars they built up until today were dealer demos and there is a resurgence in covid? They may be waiting to see how it goes in December to decide if parts suppliers and employees can keep up the expected build pace.

I think bi weekly still and there were a small number of dates posted last week if i remember correctly. Or may be those posts were not new dates but previously issued dates but known only recently to posters

Well, Ford is not Tesla. If they discovered an issue they want to correct, they are not letting cars go with what I am guessing is a minor issue (since this is only a one-week setback).
