A few of the names that are probably on this list have been strangely quiet the last couple weeks...

the rest of us are too stubborn to figure that last part out. ?

That's fine for dealers that will return the order deposit. Not all dealers have agreed to.
True, but that was the deal those customers signed on for, so they knew that risk. Or at least they should have confirmed that when they paid the $500 deposit (or whatever amount the dealer required).

And even if losing a deposit to the dealer, that doesn't change anything for Ford, and their statement that you can still do a test drive and cancel if you don't want it.

Exactly - nothing like test driving the actual car you may be purchasing.
Don’t need a test drive.
Just pull the plastic off, don’t wax or wash it, and let me pick it up.
I have seen and read enough.
I want the car.

Same here, now that I had the opportunity to sit in one to check seat height, confort, and general feel in person. Those are the things I needed confirmed. The drive I'm confident in.

Many people's test drive will be in the vehicle they ordered when it arrives. Simple. Then they can decide whether they want to complete the purchase or not.

Doesn't need to be an FCTP to do the test drive.
My dealer was pretty sure my FE would be the first MME he receives.

I didn’t get to sit in it either.
I just got to see it at an auto show from a distance.
Last February.
No tours for the heartland.
Just for the coasters and far West.
Who will also probably get your cars first.
Not that I’m bitter.
Not at all.

LOL so true. I was just thinking that those of us on here don't even need a "dealer walkthrough" given all that we know. And for those of us who were able to see it in person during the Mach-E tour have more of a reason to just drive it off immediately.

Realistically we should be educating the dealers. Any salesman who wants to be an expert on the Mach E just needs to join this forum.

Most of them don’t care enough about cars.
