No doubt about that, anything over $50k seems about there.
We saw an Explorer ST yesterday and I told my wife it was between $50k and $60k. She replies, "For a Ford!?" I guess she doesn't remember I have a Mach-E arriving in a few weeks. I just sort of shrugged and kept driving.

Let's see... 110 outlet, heated rear seats, tilt/4-way lumbar on front, dimming side mirror, what else are we looking for on 22 model?
Ventilated seats. HomeKit integration

yours isn't just any Ford though...its a mustang...an ELECTRIC mustang

I recall a few years ago pricing out a top spec Taurus that was around $53k. Now you see BMW 2 series and Mercedes A class for low $30k. "non-luxury" brand is reaching up while the "luxury" brands are trying to dip low. Everyone is trying to increase their respective consumer base.

Wall Street Journal is reporting that Ford is slowing F-150 production due to the industry-wide chip shortage. https://www.wsj.com/articles/fords-...quality-problems-11612450536?mod=hp_lead_pos6

I would think Ford would only slow F-150 production after it had slowed any other vehicle in the lineup it could, if the chips in question are used in multiple vehicles. Wonder if this is or will impact the MME schedule ...

I haven't looked for a while I but I remember the Mercedes C-class being introduced and advertised as "starting under $30,000" or something, and a Jalopnik post was like "yeah you're never gonna find one that way, nobody configures it that stripped, it's basically a lie."

I think HomeKit could be OTA so we may see it yet in our 2021s.
Agreed. Apple got rid of the hardware encryption requirement over a year ago ?

The Europeans have to keep tweaking their entry levels because they keep moving their high ends up. BMW used to be 3,5,7. When 3 became the new 5, they were forced to introduce the 1. Audi had the same problem with 4,6,8. And MB is having the problem too, but they’ve complicated it further with their ungodly confusing array of model variants.

I have a friend with a Ford pickup that was $125k. Shoot, Honda Civic loaded is approaching $40k nowadays.
