This is just regurgitated Ford Press Release from May. Not a driver review. Thanks Trutolife27. It's here: https://www.jdpower.com/automotive-...prove-in-advance-of-first-customer-deliveries
First Dearborn takes in all the orders> which right now is 9-15-2020.
If 9/15 is the cutoff and the machdrops are being added to WEBDO in 9/18, will that be an issue for the drop builds?First Dearborn takes in all the orders> which right now is 9-15-2020.
Ford will decide the build order from, first edition, North America, Europe.
The scheduling clerk in dearborn will work with the scheduling clerk in Mexico, To get the proper order and build sheets done. Once that is done. The dealer will be notified of an expected date of the build and estimated delivery. Dearborn should also update your profile on ford.com also at that time.
Not really many different trims, no motors, or other options to the mache. Unlike other vehicles at other auto manufacturing plants. You can not run certain models back to back since some jobs on the line cant keep up.
So say you would have to run premium. gt, select, select premium gt.
With the mache not having many different variances, this should not be a problem. At least I have not heard of yet.
Considering that most of Ford is working from home and is slated to continue to do so until next year the person you may need to deliver to could be somewhere far away from Dearborn.I am a little more than a 2 hour drive to Dearborn. I will personally volunteer to deliver the goods on a weekend if it will help.
