I have my eye (google earth-eye) on the Ford plant, and I don't see MME stockpile yet. I will keep and look out! ;)

That isn't live, is it? I thought Google's satellite views were usually a few years old.

Just trying to get the group back on topic for this thread. May not be current view! Would be nice if it was live, right?

Yep! I went searching for webcams in the area last week but couldn't find any. Knew it was a longshot, but ya never know. :)

As long as we adding spy satellites to our list of tools for following the factory's progress, here is an updated photo of the factory taken during the plant reconfiguration in January 2020. If you compare to the previous google image taken in 2019 you can see that they have replaced the preloading parking lot with a covered garage. Good for protecting our cars but not so good for spying.

We maybe be able to catch our MMEs staging in the parking lot for loading (blue box) or entering or exiting the parking garage (yellow arrows). An image is scheduled for the sometime during the first three weeks of November, clouds permitting.

The image was taken by Maxar's Worldview 2 satellite.

Here's a link to that same image where we can zoom in for more detail. Looks like there were a lot of workers there in January. At least I assume those cars parked in the 3 lots are the cars of workers. In previous shots when it was in production, the production cars appeared to park end-to-end (up to 6 deep). All these look like "normal" parking (angled rows with one car each side for individual in/out access).

Google's refresh is pretty slow. That doesn't even show the test track they've put in the south parking lot.

Now if I could just task the satellites at Planet Labs to target their 0.4 meter resolution satellite cameras to send me daily images ...

Hey, let's hijack one of those SpaceX satellites to get live feeds of the Mach E plant. Bet that would burn old Elon's craw. Any expert hackers out there, or anyone have a teenager good at grand theft satellite?
