Does anyone have any idea how many cars they can park at the factory?

This Google earth image from Mar. 2019 shows that they appear to have a limited amount of spaces.

Note the rail cars on the upper left. Are you sure that they are only going to transport by truck?

Hopefully, in the next few days, we'll have a new satellite image of the plant and we can count for ourselves. The new collection window was 10-30 Dec, but they usually take the image as soon as they can in the window.

I had previously counted (from satellite view) about 4100 spots for production cars in lots market that way, meaning striped for end-to-end parking. Plus roughly 2000 normal spots for employees, vendors, etc. That's not counting the old lot with weeds growing through it off the top of your screencap (another 1000 or so). Or the soccer field if they got really desperate.

More recent reports said a mixture of rail and truck. But so far every window sticker I've seen posted has said rail.

I wonder if those older cars are headed to Cuba.
Not likely. That would not be legal. It is not even legal (US laws) to ship car parts to Cuba from the US.

My car is built...OMG I am excited!!!!! It is an FE......interesting is that it is listed as a premium but under options it has the codes for FE. What is interesting on the window sticker it now has codes under the SPECIAL ORDER " box.
What was the production week of your car scheduled as? Mine is scheduled to be built this week, but no updates yet. Looking at VIN, my number is about 700 after yours so wondering if there are that many that need to be built yet to get to mine (which could explain the week or so delay that people are reporting). Or if they are not producing in a purely sequential order of VIN? Hoping to see a "Born on Date" in the tracker soon for my FE. . .

My date from Ford was 11/27. I called the dealership and was told that my actual scheduled date was 12/4. I kept checking the tracker and only saw IN PRODUCTION. This morning it had the production date of today in that spot. I also noticed codes in the special options box.

even now when I pull up my Ford pass app and it looks the same. Nothing new on the app but the vin only and a link to add a hotspot.

So here is a question for those reading this lengthy, and wandering, thread:

Has anyone with a CA Rt 1 had their cars built yet? (My suspicion is that since no EPA ratings Ford may be holding off on this model until they tweak it just right--you know 327 miles +1 over Y LR.)
Mine transitioned to "in production" today; I have a build date of Dec 18. I suspect it will get pushed back, but the process is beginning anyway. I did get a window sticker, and it does NOT say "hold for shipment", but it DOES have the EPA stuff filled in (see my thread https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/route-1-window-sticker-mileage-revealed.2321/)

Not likely. That would not be legal. It is not even legal (US laws) to ship car parts to Cuba from the US.
Since that was a pic from the the late 60's, I think it was a joke

You know, a large old company might have done vehicle introductions before, and might secure off-site storage for vehicles ahead of time... just sayin'.

The place my Mach-E was parked before they did a "master reset" is not on this picture:

I doubt they are out of room yet.
