My rotors have been warped since at least 25k miles. I just don't use the friction brakes enough to justify the cost of replacing them. Dealer tried to fix, did nothing. In fact, he didn't even charge me the labor since it didn't work. I do notice if I have to hit the brakes on the highway or something. I'll just keep the $1000 bucks in my pocket and use 1PD.

I have warped Rotors and my dealership put in a guaranty request as it was within the 2 year warranty ( germany). We have now 57000km on the car. Its a RWD so we use the breaks in front more than the AWDs. I did not get any feedbal from ford yet. I hope to hear from them soon.

Has anyone come across this yet? We do a mix of one pedal and normal to burn rust off sometimes and I’ve got warped rotors for the second time. The vibrations are violent at higher speeds. What the issue here?
I'm having the same problem. Ford resurfaced them once, now the factory warrant is gone and they want $832 to put new rotors on. I barely use the brakes at all, but at higher speeds they shake badly. I wish Ford would stand up and take care of this problem. There is no way they should be warped at 35,000 miles when they first started.... Now I have 49,000 miles. Come on Ford!!!!

Yes, I usually drive in one pedal. Though it doesn't seem to matter if I use one pedal or not. I still get it....

I just had my rotors resurfaced at 26000 mile on my ‘23. Over the course of two years, I’ve used both 1 and 2 pedal driving. I do a lot of hill driving as I live at the top of a ridge line in the Central coast. Dealer said it was not a warranty as it is a consumable.
FWIW, my F 150 would go through rotors like crazy until I switched to NAPAs premium rotor. Cheap steel in my opinion from the factory

Though, this is not an issue of consumption nor of regular heavy breaking.

The issues raised here are of notable shuddering (quickly returning within months after rotors being resurfaced) from brakes that are rarely used by drivers who permit the vehicle to dominate braking with regen.

I'm thinking it would prolly be smart for carmakers to switch back to old school drum brakes, at least for the rears. They are better prtected from rust and seizing.

No source but feel.
From highway speeds with 1-pedal driving only regen is being applied until just as the car is brought to standstill.

My repeated brake shuddering can only be apparent if I use the brake pedal after shifting to neutral or upon heavy braking with the brake pedal.
