There was an update for 23 and 24 mme’s that made the car behave as if it had a dead 12v making entry impossible. Using the front bumper leads to release the hood so you can jump the car and get in doesn’t work as the LVB wasn’t actually dead.

There’s an update that undoes the introduced error. They’re just waiting on that update. In the mean time, if the error is triggered they have a method for access.

I found a feature on the Mach-e I just tried out for the first time today. Vog filter. Vog is short for Volcanic Fog.

Kilauea erupted again last week. The SO2 rich smoke has drifted south then northwest around the island to Kona where I was this morning. It’s bad enough atm that you taste sulfur after 10 minutes or so outside at sea level (and before the winds pick up). Back in the car though with climate control on, the air is fresh and clean and nary a trace of the nasty Vog.
