I'd like to know everyone's favorite add-on or factory installed option.
Mine is the roof liner that keeps out the sun glare. Can't imagine not having one.
Second is the 12v battery terminal access box. That's at the top of my wish list.

My favorite add-ons are the one's I have DIYed:

- micro-suede 'performance' seat with better bolstering
- trailer hitch receiver for bike rack and small utility trailer
- 12v access holes, PLUS HV disconnect access hole
- lift pucks

It's a way to access the 12v battery terminals. It mounts to the panel that's covering the 12v battery in the frunk.
I have a picture but can't find it.

How long did you own the Mach-E before buying the roof liner? I'm asking because people in very hot states note how it's not needed, yet people keep buying them for some reason.

I waited 9 months for the delivery of my MME and ordered the liner before I took delivery.
It may not have any impact on the cabin temp but at certain angles the sun hits me squarely in the eyes.
The roof liner blocks that while letting the light in.

Never had a need for the sun roof shield. It’s IRR glass and dark. It absolutely not an issue in the tropics. YMMV.

Mudflaps on all 4 wheels. Mostly for the looks but also for a bit of protection.

12 volt access: I drilled holes over the access points using the template in one of the threads. Added two covers and labeled them for when I or someone else forget which is which.

Interior: a silicon charging tray organizer from @AOSK .

Best factory option: the rubberized interior mats.

I have mudflaps, too, for the same reason.
I guess I sit at just the right height that the sun blinds me even though the glass is tinted.
I drove without the liner until that happened and when it did I installed the liner as soon as I could.

I have added nothing to my car that was not factory installed, although thank you to generaltso for the pool noodle center console cushion idea. I will use that one!

My favorite add-on is my Steeda anti-sway bar set. Second would be the physical lift gate release button.

The sun through the roof hits you in the eyes? I’m trying to imagine the geometry at which that could happen. Though my mother did often say she had eyes in the back of her head.
