We want a cheap second EV for just around town driving. We may even go used. Right now, the Chevy Bolts are a real good deal but the Mini EV looks like a lot of fun. We wouldn't mind a used BMW i3 but the prices are ridiculous right now.
I had an i3 as my commuter EV and just swapped it our for the Mini SE and I absolutely love it. You wouldn't go wrong if you chose to pick one up!

I'm actually eyeing the Ioniq 6 as my next big EV purchase. I know it's design is pretty polarizing, but I'm a fan, and I love vehicles that give emotion (good or bad). Will be following it to see how things turn out.

I like smaller cars, so the Mach-E already pushed the limits on how big I'd go, so I'm not sure I'd go for any other crossovers, but since the US gets very few small cars not sure what I'll end up with.

I was hoping Ford and Lincoln would have the 3-row EV versions of the Explorer and Aviator out by early to mid 2024. It sounds like they’re both delayed until late 2024 or early 2025. I‘ll probably go with a 3-row Hyundai, Kia or Genesis, depending when/if they’re available in Ohio.

We have no plans to "move on" from the Mach-E, but if something (bad) happened to it, we'd consider the EV6, Ariya, and maybe even the Cadillac.

But a very plausible option is to replace our Boxster with a "second car" EV...and a Bolt EV as at the top of that list. Followed by a used...something...

Cancelled the Mach e order a few months ago and acquired an Ioniq 5 AWD, absolutely no regrets. Amazing car.

I want a Toyota Sienna EV that's not made by Toyota. So essentially a 7 passenger minivan that can drive like the Mach-E!

Strange that you Americans buy new cars so often, even every 3 years seems crazy for me …

But I guess it's good anyhow, as good used EVs are needed on the market. I'm planning to stay with my MME for 10 years, but my father is getting the GT in a month or so, so I might be able to upgrade if i kill him (j/k – have to say it out load to make sure these days) …
A lot of us are in the Boomer generation, only so many 3 year periods left. I guess that increases the urgency to upgrade as fast as possible. That's not the only urgency we have to react fast for...

I will be keeping an eye out on a few models over the coming years, will be curious to see how well the EV6 GT performs along with long term reports on how well the GV60 holds ups, what the polestar 4 ends up looking like along with the macan EV and the Audi q6 equivalent and interested to see what lucid come up with as model 3/Y competition.

I have enjoyed the mach-e as my first EV ownership, however until Ford marketing and Ford engineering get on the same page and stop over promising and under delivering I will not be considering any future Ford EVs as my next EV.

Since it takes about 6-12 months to get any EV nowadays, What EV would you consider if you were to move on from the MachE?

I'm sorta happy with the GTPE (frustrated with the power reduction and Ford's response with the current recall.) But I figured with the market where it current stands, I'll be slightly head if I sell in the next 6-12 months. So Was thinking about the next EV. Cant go back to ICE, because its so convenient to be fully charged every morning.

Already on a 2nd Model Y, so no more tesla. Great car, but want something different.

Some of the EVs I was considering are in no particular order:
Macan EV
Taycan CT4
Audi Etron GT
Genesis GV60
BMW i50

Anything else out there interesting?
I am keeping my MME CA RT1 . I also have a sienna minivan that I'm considering to change for a Rivian R1S with extended Battery.

Kinda surprised no one has mentioned an Aptera yet.

400 miles of range, 3.5 0-60, and up to 40 solar miles added per day, all for $35k?! Sign me up.

Plus I think it looks cool.

Definitely looks like fun, but I am not sure I would trust commuting in that during a Northeastern winter. Does not look like it will handle the snow well at all, especially the deeper stuff.

I don't feel the technology/infrastructure is there yet to meet my lifestyle to allow for an all EV garage. I'd be interested in a mid-size hybrid pickup like the Canyon/Colorado twins or the Ranger until the overall range and especially the winter range improve. Short of those being available maybe a 1956 Mr. Toad EV special ?
