When will Mach-E owners be able to open the frunk using Fordpass app?

I’m surprised all the people with FDRS and Fordcan haven’t compared a job 1 to a job 2 and figured it out!
Yeah I bet they could narrow it down. Right now there must be some modules on Job 1s that are above 2s, and some on 2s that are above 1s.

Need both 5/6 and 7/8
Push them sequentially or at the same time? EDIT: Tried both ways and nothing. Doors unlock but that’s it. Are you sure this works with Job 1 cars?

No. It does not work with any job 1 cars.

I have a GTPE (Job2 - July 2021 build) and I still don't have the Frunk Button. Don't feel left out. We'll get it one day.

What is the “remove passenger” button for?? Is that like an eject button?

The real question isn’t whether it’s an eject button, but rather, whether it’s upwards ejection or downward ejection. One is an E ticket for the passenger, the other a mess and probably a bit rude.

Yeah, they made a limited edition (GT Performance Ejection) where the glass roof is divided into 2 parts and the passenger seat can be ejected through the hinged roof panel. Only works if PaaK is enabled when connected via bluetooth and the car must be stationary.

I don't like how you have to freaking slam the hood down hard just to close the thing lol. Thats why I rarely use it. When I do open it I use the hood icon button on the sync "access" screen. Yes that would mean firing up the car and getting in. Just the tech of it is cool.

I still haven't found a use for it. It won't seal temperature to really use as a cooler/ice chest. It won't seal out the smell of food from to go or left overs out.

I have a large lock sack (put food in to seal smell) and a milk crate in the hatch which I can pop open with the FOB. Paak is installed half ass (all I really cared for is the remote start anyway).

The frunk is the best place to put food containers you bring home from restaurants so the whole car doesn’t smell like Olive Garden for three days. Just don t forget about them!!
I don't know, if you put the fan on where the settings is taking air from outside you will smell it. I guess you can set it to recirculated air then.

My 2022 GT allows me to open the frunk from the screen in the car or my phone. Also the trunk. It was delivered on May 13th, so it is a very new build. It is still buried down a menu level in the car. Of course, the foot release on the trunk doesn't work, but I verified all the hardware is there.
The foot release for the trunk doesn’t work on my GT either. I took delivery in May. I read on one of these forums that Ford ended the foot release thing in January. Don’t know if it’s true.
