march 22 22 is when we received our car, jan 22 build. I received that message in ford pass also last month , right after the update- none since🤷‍♂️
Have you checked your Service tab in the FordPass app? It is likely that the message is still there like mine has been, but it should clear after replacing the 12v.

Post up! and for everyone over 3 years old, you've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well?
Mine lasted for 48 months then the sudden death syndrome put an end to it. Had to rescue my wife from her hike.
Had to call the dealer for a replacement to take to her. The funny thing though was when I told the parts dept that I needed a battery for my Mach E they thought I needed the big battery. I had to tell them twice that it was a 12V battery. I got the last one, the only one they had.
Caution, if your battery is 44 to 48 months old, expect the unexpected.

I have a Mustang Mach-e First Edition that was manufactured December 2020 and took delivery 3 months later as it sat in yard waiting for a recall fix.

I have the original 12V battery after 4.5 years of use or now almost 5 years since manufacturing. 105,000km. Live in Ontario Canada with cold winters.

I will get 12v battery tested this year before winter.

When the voltage reads 11.6 expect trouble any day.

You could well be correct and are likely to be so though verification that all other conditions are normal and LVB battery won’t accept charge should be confirmed.

Unqualified fault diagnosis and diagnosis by substitution is folly and expensive.

It’s should always be a matter of guided diagnosis even when things appear so simple and obvious.

If it’s the case the HVB was left to arrive at such a low SoC that LVB charging could not be started when LVB was nearly ready for a charge by car’s DC/DC converter and/or some drain on LVB took its SoC that low then HVB requires fully charging and conditions testing & monitoring.

Also LVB’s SoH should be tested old-schoolesque for charging, capacity and discharge rate which often becomes forgotten or overlooked when technicians lose themselves in the high-tech world.

LVB requires fully charging & testing before throwing away.

If OK, fault resulting in low LVB SoC lies elsewhere, charging system for instance, parasitic or greater discharge or some other fault.

One should always look beyond the end of one’s nose🤥

Mine was 55 months without any trouble. I had the remote service van come to the house for a software update regarding the lockout on the inside if the battery dies. So I thought ok, even though it's not dead, I'll have them install a new one at the same time. I was going to do it myself, but I'm glad I didn't. They told me damage could be done to some electronics if I don't do it right, and besides, the voltage was reading a low 11.1 volts. They said it would not have lasted much longer, so it's better to be safe and change it. I was going to do it anyhow. Ford pass points helped a lot.

Mine has 59 months and no sign-yet-of issues. I have an appointment next month with the dealer for the software update, install new Michelin CC2 wheels and to finally replace the 12v battery. 5 years is good and long enough.

Lesson learned, I'll be monitoring 12v health more closely.
Do you think monitoring works for our batteries? What data do you monitor now?

My understanding has been that monitoring is largely an exercise in futility, and we're better off just replacing the battery at 3 years or so.

My Mach E is a 2021 First Edition built in October 2020 and purchased in February 2021. It only has 51k miles

On Thursday October 17th, I got a notice in my app to check the battery. Then on Saturday the 12V battery died. I had to replace it. When it goes bad, it happens quick.
