August 2020 build date, so 53 months.
At least I'm pretty sure it's the original. I bought it used September 2023 and to my knowledge it has never been replaced. I did perform the reconditioning/desulfating procedure shortly after buying it and it seemed to help get rid of a bunch of random errors that would pop up.

I drive 100 miles pretty much every day and I'm plugged in L2 every day, so maybe the car does a pretty good job maintaining the battery in those circumstances.

Knocking on wood as I type this ?

My MME AWD ER was built 6/2021 and I took delivery and have been driving it since late 7/2021 - so 44 months since build, 45 since delivery and still running on the original LVB. I have 42,000 miles on it and drive it pretty much daily. I regularly charge at home on my Level 2 Chargepoint Flex charger (not sure if that has any effect but thought I would throw in that data point). No issues so far.

And I have a really good relationship with my Ford dealer and, even though I cannot see the LVB Status in Ford Pass, my Service Writer could and told me that its state was at 79% (and I confirmed that was for the LVB, not the main HVB battery).

Post up! and for everyone over 3 years old, you've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well?

I just had mine replaced, but I'm guessing it was about 48 months old (First Edition 2021). According to folks here with FDRS they said it was at about 48% health so it was time!

Job 1 here. Preemptively replaced mine at 43m. Winter was approaching and it was close to the 40k interval. I left MME for service as I drove off the lot with a new Lariat, and the health check was not so great. With the Lariat could I have squeezed out more time? Maybe but I didn‘t want to get stuck somewhere when it was cold out. And its been unusually cold around here since that time.

My car was built mid Dec 2020, delivered to me Jan 2021. So it’s 49.5 months since the build and almost exactly 48 months since delivery. Still on the original LVB.
Same for mine. Built Dec 2020. Mine Prem MME was delivered April 2021. Still original 12V

It's almost 3 years, but I'm already on my 3rd 12V battery. The previous 2 were replaced under warranty. They were worn out. I noticed that my MME does not go to sleep after locking the car (see this post), draining the 12V battery unnecessarily. I suspect that PAAK plays a role.

November 2020 built and still has the same 12V battery. No signs of failing. On a trickle charger most nights of the week.

Is it really so common for batteries to die after 3 years that it's an anomaly when one doesn't? My wife and I each get cars every 5 years or so, I've only had to jump a car once and I've never replaced a LVB...

2021 Job 1 here, still on the original battery. I even took it to the dealer for recalls this past month and they said there was no issues with the battery and didn't recommend a replacement. With the reputation of dealers trying to upcharge everything, I think that if they don't recommend it then I'm probably OK.
