I've attached my time slip

Excellent time. 1.69 60ft is stout. It's nice to see what our cars are capable of

I live 7 minutes from our locaal drag strip and my son works there part time. I ran mine on Friday and did 11.78 at 113mph and backed it up with an 11.76 at 113mph. Quicker then the 11.81 Ford claims. it was only 19 celcius. I'm hoping with warmer weather and weight reduction I can get into the 11.60's. My stock 2023 GT 5.0 went 11.81 at 119, so I currently have the quickest car I have owned. What times have other people posted?
I thought the mme stops climbing in speed after 5 seconds?

The 2021-2023 GT have the 5 second limiter. That's a big part of why I got a 2024 GT. ??

also curious what tires you're using, I'm guessing the Pirellis?

Yes it's running Pirelli's, They were replaced under warranty because all of them were cracking on the outer edges. Also I ran last Friday 11.673 and 11.679 at 114mph with 1.66 60ft times my best time so far.

I've been secretly looking for a Fiat 124 or cheap Alpha, Miata, s2000, Boxster to SCCA and or find other driving events local to Firebird, then thought... why not beat up on my MME. Still thinking it over though.

Our local race track also has a 1.9 mile road course. My son has made 1000's of laps on the road course and has done 1 minute 19 seconds with his track pack Mach1. He was suprised at how balnced the Mache is and is almost as fast as his car is. Next time out we will put at lap timer on to see.

Anyone run a road course —after a year I’m getting used to the handling on our curved roads with the 1 pedal and all wheel drive, but they are well paved. Had a few scary moments with bump steer and bounce at high speeds on rougher highways with corners so I have been a little apprehensive to try a track.

I love the Mache my only complaint is the suspension and handing at high speeds. Don’t think I would road race at the track with it. I think it’s the best practical car I’ve ever owned tho. Saves me a ton on fuel.

if I could have a wish list it would be a wider track, more travel in the suspension, I’m ok with the firmness, more control over caster/camber especially caster and maybe a touch lower and one other thing “a stick” that would make me smile more.

I would strongly recommend that you replace the OEM sway bars with Eibach bars. I have installed a minimum of 12 sets of these here on member's Mach-E's and it will greatly improve your handling and slightly improve the ride. The OEM bars have a vulcanized rubber mounted bushing that doesn't allow the bar to move freely contributing to the bouncy ride. Many posts here how everyone loves their Eibach sway bars. Only downside is if you're running the super narrow OEM 18" or 19" tires, they will start to squeal going around corners. The bars will ask much more of the tires and throwing on a good set of wider performance tires will further improve your handling.

You mentioned more travel in the suspension but then said you would like the car a touch lower? Basically, there is very little suspension travel in the Mach-E to begin with and lowering it is probably not what you want to do. All non-GT/Rally Mach-E's have 2 1/2" of suspension travel. GT's 2" and Rally's 3 1/2". I lowered both my '21 Premium and '21 GTPE. It gave me the look I wanted but the ride suffered when I had the car loaded with passengers. Decided not to lower my '24 GTP and only install Eibach sway bars and aftermarket wheels/tires which I do on pretty much every car I own.

About the alignment, Front/Rear Camber and Toe are both adjustable while the Castor is not. From the factory, the front Camber is not adjustable without removing the two splined strut to wheel bolts and replacing them with regular bolts.

Let me know if you have any other questions about the suspension.

FAIR WARNING: The money hungry, power tripping volunteers at these races will look for any reason to fail you at tech inspection. Your helmet will have to be nomore than 5 years old and it can't be a motorcycle helmet.

thanks for the tips —I will look into the sway bars. Yah there isn’t a lot of travel. It’s almost like driving a go cart. My wish for the suspension is a total redesign. Something I probably won’t embark on at this stage because I need a daily driver. But I will look into the sway bars and search out some of the other threads.

Damn, i guess tech inspectors are on your naughty list. Most tracks and sanctioning bodies have safety rules regarding helmets stating the required Snell rating and maximum age of the interior. That said, I have made tech with a very old helmet with a new lining. The age of the lining of the helmet is important since the padding is what protects you as long as the shell is unbreached. 🤔🐩
