Just saw this thread and ironically, I ordered my MME on October 12, 2020.

I bought it because I wanted to own and drive a full electric vehicle while I'm still around. I've had many ICE cars and 3 hybrids and it's time for a BEV. I'm pretty thrilled with what it has on it and really like the OTA feature. I don't think I'll use the autopilot feature when it becomes available; too old fashioned in that I want to drive my car and not some software package.

I wish the charging network was more robust. I realize that they are adding more charging stations everyday but I'd still like to see more (especially on the route to see one of my daughters). I also wish they could manufacture them more quickly.

Loved my PHEV and decided it was time to go full EV
I chose the MME based on Ford’s service network, the price (including the tax credit), the size which has versatility for me between passengers and cargo, and it looks cool. I considered a Tesla until I drove the Model Y. It does have better visibility and a roomier feel, but it doesn’t feel as solid and the ride and performance was not as impressive.

I wish it had faster charging and pet mode.

My wife's 2007 Prius is running great and it has been a good car. But we're tired of it and she wanted a small SUV. I drive a scion FRS 6 speed daily. Really like it. Started looking for a small SUV and what did you know there was a mustang? suv double?? and it doesn't have an engine. This really did not sound right. I have not owned a Ford since my 1966 Shelby Mustang. And while this might look like a mustang from some angles it's not. I drove a Tesla model 3 and was impressed but not with the company, just the car. The Mach e just hit all the buttons and the wife thinks is great she never needs to get gas again. If it is close to my expectations it will be delightful. About once a month we make a 250 mile round trip so I wanted a car with that much range plus enough I wasn't nervous getting home. The Premium ER should make that just fine. We ordered the car Jan 4th and at that time there was no charging near our destination. Now there is charging at the destination. the charging infrastructure should just keep growing.
I run an IT company so I'm looking forward to the learning curve and getting to really understand the car and it's systems.
If you're really into the tech watch Munroes nut and bolt tear down of the Mach e on youtube.
