Windscreen crack - check this one out

Driving through Washington state about 90 mins from home. Certainly got a comment from the border guard on the following. Was hit by a very large rock. Saw it just before it came straight at my head made a solid thud and disappeared.

This screen was installed about a month ago.

Wow, that's crazy. Normal economy car windshield the rock probably would have gone right through.

I was glad for bluecruise s it was hard to see under street lights. It dazzled too much then.
And glad it is a premium screen!

I was thinking of calling the glass company that installed it to ask, but not sure if they have a sense of humour!

You are saying a small rock (like 1-2" in diameter) got picked up by traffic and flung at your car? Or someone maliciously threw a boulder at your car, from an overpass or something? Crazy!

Exactly what I was thinking!

There was a story in the news not too long ago about kids dropping rocks onto cars from overpasses in the Seattle/Tacoma area. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw your picture was that it looks like those ne'er-do-wells are back.
