This is a strange one. For anyone who has used the onboard navigation: Did you notice an odd blue bar to the right of the map instructions?
Ford Mustang Mach-E Strange Blue bar while using NAV 1613584837410

(I hope I don't need to point it out in this pic)

This seemed to randomly come and go. Sometimes it was only a flash and other times it was there for a good 45 seconds or so.

Here it is without the blue bar:

The way it pops up and goes away looks to me like the display isn't getting rendered properly (not sure if this display is also HTML or not).

Its very transient: I don't think it is trying to denote a lane...but I could be wrong.

As far as issues go with the car this is obviously waaaaay down on the list of things. Just noticed it that is all.

Interesting. I either didn't get it or didn't notice it. While it could be a glitch it might also be communicating something we just don't understand yet.

Yeah its been suggested that is a graph indicating distance to the up coming indicated turn but it didn't behave that way for me.

I've noticed this as well, seems to flicker on and off randomly. Maybe it's intended to indicate something and isn't working quite right (like a lane switch timing suggestion), but I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a rendering glitch.

Could it indicate that there is a car/obstacle on that side? Like a blind spot indicator?

Don't know if you noticed any differences with left turns, but if you had a left turn proposed by the navigation and the blue bar showed up, was it on the left or right? If it's (poorly) trying to communicate something, it would at least make sense if it were consistently on the side with the turn.

Haven't noticed; since I knew my way I didn't pay that much attention. Just happened to notice this.

For me, it shows soon before any turn, every time. I think it's to give you a visual that you have to do something soon. If you have the audible alerts on, there's an audible alert at the same time.
This isn't what it is. I noticed it on my way home from the dealer. It just randomly flashes. I had 89 miles to the next instruction. It wouldn't have been telling me it was soon at that point. It was distracting. Its big enough it makes you look at it every time it flashes up.

It's funny - I actually went for a drive tonight, and you're right. I had thought it just appeared right before a turn because (not so surprisingly) that was when I was looking down at my dash. Tonight, now that you all had pointed it out, I noticed it flashing randomly the whole drive. There goes my theory!

This blue bar (and vehicle graphic) I do not recognize. Seems like I have to somehow turn off cruise control while in standby or accessory mode.
