Yes 240. There is 249V at the outlet. Only difference is I'm charging from an older drier style outlet that uses ground as neutral with an adapter to the 14-50 style plug.
If it's a dryer outlet, the breaker is likely 30 amps. If it does start working, it will likely trip that breaker when it tries to pull 32 amps.

Also, I don't think we know for sure if the Ford Mobile Charger requires a separate neutral and ground, so that could be your problem.

I recall reading something somewhere about the ground as neutral on the 240V charger wiring for plug-ins. I need to look around for that.

Most EVSEs don't require a neutral. But we don't know for sure if that's the case with the Ford Mobile Charger.

Not the issue (at least for me and guessing everyone else in this forum). I have the 2 hots, ground and natural at my outlet. A second electrician just left my house. I wanted a second opinion. Everything checked out perfect at the outlet and panel.

I have also tried both the Ford Mobile Connector and Juice Box. This is still lending me to believe the issue is software versus hardware. I can charge just fine from a Level 2 charger. Just not at my house. I am really starting to think the issue is that the car is stuck in a no charge at home regardless of what is in the system. Even after a Master Reset and unconfigured Sync system and everything being deleted out of my Ford Pass, it would not charge. It can be the cache is not wiping out. There is a chance it is hardware but based that we can all seem to charge outside of our home, then this points to software. Also, a reminder that my dealer brought out a second MME to test yesterday and it could charge from the same 240V outlet and EVSE.

Again, Ford is on it now and it seems they are seeing this with a small fraction of cars.

I will agree with you at this point except I was not able to charge at my neighbor's house either. He is about 100 yards away so maybe the car thought I was still home. I also reset and tried everything possible I could think of.

Was your neighbor's outlet a 14-50 or did you use an adapter there also?

220 or 240V? Part of me believes this can also just be a software thing where the car regardless of what’s in the charging schedule for your home is telling it not to charge. Now part of my troubleshooting includes master resetting the car and not loading in any information with the Ford Pass or setting up profiles. That did not solve the issue.
Thanks for being our pioneer!

I even switched the neutral and ground wires at my outlet to see if it was looking for the ground on the plug but switched it back after that did not work. Now I'm only running 3 wires all #6 to the box and using my conduit for the ground which should be fine as the electric return should all flow through the Neutral wire unless there is a short problem. The ground and neutral are the same in a single home electrical box unless you have a sub box.

I’m just grateful that I’m not having to drive to and from work right now. If that were the case, I’ll probably be a little bit more upset right now.

At least mine charges fast at work so I can deal with that for now.

Can the dealer do some sort of master reset that you can not through the OBD?
